Beautiful Flowers

Hellooooo

We have been making beautiful flowers using the Big Shot and flower die.  We actually made these as a make n take at a workshop I did recently and they loved them.

Mine of course had to be blue......
Each layer has been put through the big shot, using different embossing folders.....
Then we added one of the large stampin up buttons to the center using linen thread..
They look great as a broach although I can't wait to try it using the new stampin up fabric....
Well thats all for now, thanks for stopping by...

School Diary

Helloooo

I just thought I would share with you a little project I did, which was to tranform my dull school diary into something any crafter would be proud to have in their bag......

I'm quite pleased with it and I have lots of lovely comments from co workers..

September Card Class

Helloooo

I gave my ladies a treat at my card class, we made three cards using supplies from the new catalogue. We as Demonstrators were allowed to buy certain items form the catalogue before its launch on the 1st October.
I chose the new InColours kit, the gorgeous lace punch plus some other bits and pieces...
These are the cards we made....
I am just loving the new in colours, especially Pool Party and Island Indigo, (well blues are my fave) and I teamed it with Dasher another favourite.
 Isn't that punch just gorgeous......

You can't see it very well but Dashers antlers are sparking with Dazzling Diamonds...
Another In colour Wild Whisteria, sooo pretty, again using the new punch and some Boho Blossoms.
One card I debossed and the other I embossed for a slightly different look..
The sentiment is another favourite from the Curly Cute Stampset and I just had to add a few pearls, you just gotta love them....

The last card uses Lucky Limeade and an old favourite (still available) Lovely as a Tree stampset and of course lots of dazzling diamonds.

Thats all for now hope you enjoyed them...

August & September ATCs

Helloooo

Whoa its been over a month since my last post (sounds like confession) my excuse is that we have bought a house in Wales and inbetween decorating our house here in oxfordshire (ready to sell) and going to Wales at the weekends (with no internet!!!) there is little time for anything else.
I have managed to do a bit of crafting (I think I would go mad otherwise) but its finding time to blog.......
Anyhoo the ATC for August was Theater and unfortunatly I didn't have any stamps so had to resort to the internet.  My very favourite ballet is Swan Lake so I decided to use that as my theme.

Not my usual thing but I was happy with the outcome.
However I did better with Septembers ATC which was favourite technique, which for me is stamping with a bit of masking.

I used one of my fave stamps the lovely Dasher and the sentiment from Comtempo Christmas.  I also used some of the new In Colours Pool Party and Island Indigo really lush....  The pattern was created using the new lace punch. I punched out a border and then used it as a stencil using a dauber and craft ink created the pattern.  I added dazzling diamonds to give it a bit of glitz and voila...
I am loving the new in colours...
Hope you like and thanks for stopping by..... I hope to be back tomorrow to share some of the things from the Regional training I went to on Saturday... Ta Tar for now...
