Pretty Petite Petals

Hello and welcome back...

I have been trying to find ways of using my Washi Tape, I love it but don't really get around to using it so usually end up with lots of retired stock..... So trawling through Pinterest I saw a card which used washi tape to make a banner so I thought I would give it a go.....

The colour scheme for this card is Bermuda Bay, Whisper White and Blackberry Bliss... I used washi tape from 2014 - 2016 In Colour, Cherry On Top, Everyday Chic and Bohemian Designer Washi Tape. 

I used the Hello from the Stamp Set Crazy About You and stamped it onto Whisper White Card... and created a little banner.

I stamped the flowers from the Petite Petals Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss ink and then punched them out using the matching Petite Petals Punch.

I put some of the flowers on Dimensionals and some directly on the card. Then to finish off I put some gems randomly all over the card.

Really pleased with the look and love those little flowers... so pretty.

Crazy About You Decorated Tin Of Cards

Hello and welcome back,

Hope you having a fabulous weekend, mine has been pretty busy......

Today's little project goes with the cards that I made HERE, Its a decorated tin to put the cards and envelopes in...

The tin has been decorated with the same flowers I used on the cards, from the Stamp Set Crazy About You, I really like them....

These butterflies are just so beautiful, I have cut them out and then daubed them with matching inks... and if you love these intricate dies you are in for a real treat in the NEW Autumn/Winter Catalogue.....Just Sayin'

I have used one of my favourite sets in the background Gorgeous Grunge,stamped in Pool Party Ink....

You can fit two A6 cards side by side and there is enough room for six or more cards, so will make a lovely gift for someone...

So there we have the finished project, I hope you like...

Crazy About You Flower Card

Hey there and welcome back...

Today's cards feature the flowers from the awesome Stamp Set Crazy About You, this Stamp Set has 30 sentiments, 2 flowers and a leaf Stamp.....and is only £23...Bargain...

 My colour scheme is Bermuda Bay and Pool Party with some Cucumber Crush...

The large flower is great for layering, here I have stamped the flower four times, twice in Bermuda Bay and twice in Pool Party, then I have cut them down and layered them using dimensionals..

This flower I cut between each petal and then embossed them to give them shape and layered one Bermuda Bay flower with one Pool Party flower..

I also gave the leaves a little bit of dimension too...

And I cut out a butterfly using the Bold Butterfly Framelits and then daubed it with the same colours..

 The sentiment is from the Wetlands Stamp Set, stamped in Bermuda Bay..

 Lastly I added a pearl to the center of each flower...

And here are the finished cards...Beautiful....

Squirrel Birthday Wishes

Hey there and welcome back,

Today's card features a really cute squirrel, see how made him HERE... I thought it was about time I made him into a card, he's been sat in to do box...lol

The English Garden Designer Series Paper is just perfect for the background to this card, there are 12 sheets of double sided paper with beautiful designs...

I used my Old Olive Stampin'Write Pen to do the faux stitching around the edge, I punched out a little banner using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, then cut it down to make it narrower and stamped Happy Birthday on it using the Crazy About You Stamp Set.

I added two flowers made using the Boho Blossom Punch, I cut between each petal and then embossed the petals to make them stand out and added a Candy Dot in the center.

As this card was not a standard size I made an envelope out of the English Garden DSP to match using my Envelope Punch Board.

Love it,its so cute.....

Zoo Babies Birthday

Hey There and welcome back...

How are you, has it been hot where you are? It certainly has here in London, unbearably so...not that I am complaining really....but it does make travelling around a tad uncomfortable...

Well today's card features the Zoo Babies stamp set..

This is such a cute set, the first card features the Rhino, Lion and Toucan, which I have stamped in Smoky Slate, Pacific Point and Pumpkin Pie in a random way on Whisper White card.

Which is mounted on a piece of Pacific Point and then on to a Smoky Slate card blank.

Then I made a little banner using the Triple Banner Punch and added a Pumpkin Pie button and some bakers twine.

And its not complete without a matching envelope...

The second card is the same except this time I used the Elephant, Giraffe and Monkey...

And there are still two animals I didn't use a Zebra and a Crocodile, what a great set...

The Open Sea Father's Day Cards

Hello and welcome back,


I really love this set and was especially glad when it carried over to the new catalogue, so I have more time to play with it. Still on the Father's Day Theme, I just love this colour combination, maybe because it features Night of Navy...mmmm...could be..we also have Crumb Cake and a little bit of Early Espresso, I don't know about stamp but it sound good enough to eat...

I love the Hardwood background on this card, it gives a very nautical feel to it, the background is stamped in Crumb Cake and the Early Espresso was used for the anchor and compass. I also used it to stamp the ship which I cut out and used dimensionals to lift it up.

This sentiment is no longer available, but I just love it its Fabulous...lol

This card uses all of the stamps in the set, with the addition of the Sentiment from Crazy About you.

Don't you just love these antique brads, they are so beautiful, you won't want to give them away...unless its for someone special and Dad's are definitely that...

By The Tide Fathers Day Card

Hey there and welcome back,

I have another Fathers Day Card today, not long now so I hope you have made or are planning to make one soon....lol

I used the fabulous Hardwood stamp for the background, stamped in Soft Suede onto Marina Mist and did a little bit of sponging around the edges.

The Happy Father's Day is from the Crazy For You Stamp Set, this stamp set is great its so versatile, it has 30 different words and phrases that you can put together to make so many cool sentiments.

I used the Burlap Ribbon to make a banner, I frayed the edges and used some of it to attach the little medallion.

I stamped the gorgeous little Seahorse and conch shell and then cut them out and used my bone folder to curl the shell to give it some dimension. I also stamped the coral on the background all are from the By The Tide Stamp Set.
