Spooky Halloween Owl Treat Bags

Hey there, welcome back...

I have some super spooky Halloween Owl Treat bags to share with you today...

This is the large bag that you can make with the Gift Bag Punch Board. I started off with a piece of Basic Black Card stock 12" x 6", then I lined it up with the start line on the board and punched and scored on the L line. It's so easy the instructions are on the board so you can't lose them and it has its own scoring tool so as long as you put it back when you have finished you won't lose that either....

The owl eyes are 2" Black, 1 1/2" Orange and 3/4" Black Circles layered as above...

The feathers are the small oval punch and more Basic black card...The beak is a triangle of black card going from the top of the bag to approx. the middle, with a tiny triangle of orange card on the very tip.

Inside I have filled a cello bag with M&Ms and tied it with some black ribbon.

I then took a piece of tissue paper and loosely wrapped the cello bag and popped it in the gift bag.

Then I used the Halloween stamp from the Stamp Set And Many More and stamped it in black on some Whisper White Card. I cut it out using the Word Window Punch and then mounted it on a black oval. I used a tiny bulldog clip to attach it to the gift bag...

And voila two super spooky Halloween Gift Bags....

I hope you like today's project, pop back tomorrow for another Curvy Keepsake Wednesday.....

Owls, Owls, Owls

Helloooo

In case you haven't noticed I love Owls, in all shapes and forms.  I have made small Owl boxes, large Owl boxes, Owl cards, Owl soft toys, you can't go through my blog without finding an Owl here and there.....
Well today is no exception, I found the template for this little Owl gift bag on the internet and he is soooo cute.

I filled him with little heart shaped jelly beans, which in themselves were tooo cute, but inside the Owl gift bag you might OD on cuteness!!!!!

I demo'd the bag at my last workshop and gave this one to the hostess as a gift,

I will have to photograph the make and take, they were using the new blossom punch, just gorgeous...

Anyhoo thats all for now, thanks for stopping by...

January 2012 Card Class

Hellooooo....

At my Wednesday afternoon Stamp Class I thought we would start off the New Year with some 3D projects.  So we made a gorgeous box, a desk calendar and a little gift box.

We started with the gift box, it uses the big shot and the pillowbox die, sooo easy, then we made this lovely punch art owl to go on the front, we made some similar boxes with punch art owls on last year, but I saw this little chap on an American Demo's site and fell in love straight away. ( I will try and remember who's site and add to post)

These little boxes are so useful for giving sweet treats or a little bit of jewellary, the  uses are endless. I made some to hang on my Christmas Tree with sweeties in, they looked lovely.

So onto project 2 the desk callendar, again with a little owl theme going on, the callendars are really easy to make and I have made them for the last two years. Just changing the size or theme and you have a totally new callendar.

The owl is made using the owl punch, which makes this project super easy.

Project 3 was a pizza box which the callendar fitted into perfectly but could be used for just about anything, jewellary, chocolates, in fact they would make perfect wedding favour boxes, especially with that gorgeous flower on top.

That flower die is one of my favourites, you can create such beautiful flowers, this one uses 3 of each size offset slightly. I love it and those antique brads are just gorgeous
Anyway hope you like, thanks for stopping by....
