Day 1 The Wilderness Awaits - Happy Birthday

Hello and welcome back

This week I am going to be creating projects using the gorgeous stamp set The Wilderness Awaits, it has four stunning images.

I have used the Stag but haven't really used it that much, so today's card features that gorgeous dog.

I started off with an Old Olive card base and I cut a piece of Whisper White as a mat at the top of the card base then I cut another piece of Whisper White slightly smaller to go on top of the first piece. This is the piece I stamped on.

I stamped the image of the dog on a separate piece of Whisper White using Basic Black ink and coloured him in using my Aqua Painter and Soft Suede ink, then I added some Cajun Craze. I used a Crumb Cake marker to add some shading and then I fussy cut him out.

For the background I created a mask for the hill and then using a sponge dauber I gently sponged Old Olive ink downwards, then I added some Garden Green in the same way. For the sky I sponged some Soft Sky across the top of the card. I used the tree from Lovely As A Tree and stamped it in Garden Green twice on the right and once on the left.

I stamped the sentiment from Remembering Your Birthday in Basic Black at the bottom on the Old Olive card base and added three Basic Black Candy Dots to the opposite side.

Lastly I stuck the dog to the card and added some grass where he is standing.

There's Snow Place Like Home

Hello there and welcome back...

Today's card features the Hearth and Home Thinlits Dies and the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set and matching Framelits dies.

I started off with an Island Indigo Card Base and added a piece of Whisper White which I had put through the Big Shot in the Brick Wall Embossing folder. Then I cut out the door using the Hearth and Home Thinlits die and added a piece of vellum which I had embossed with the BoHo Chic Embossing Folder. I stuck it to the card with dimensionals.

Next I stamped the Wondrous Wreath onto some white card and cut it out using the matching framelits and added a little plaque "there's snow place like home" and stuck it to the door using dimensionals.

I cut a bow out of Red Glimmer Paper and added it to the wreath and used a grey candy dot as the door knob.

I also cut out the little dog from the Hey Girl stamp set and popped him at the bottom of the card looking up at the plaque.....

Hearth and Home Christmas

Hello and welcome back.....

Today's card follows on from yesterdays, it's using the Hearth and Home Thinlits Dies to create a six pane window...

So instead of being on the inside looking out we are on the outside looking in at a beautiful Christmas Tree and a cute little dog... The background is the Brick Wall embossing Folder, I took a piece of Sahara Sand Card and embossed it, then I brayered over the bricks with Chocolate Chip ink.

I cut the six pane window out of Choc Chip card and brayered very gently over it with Choc Chip ink. I stamped the pine garland in Garden Green and Choc Chip ink onto Whisper White and then cut it out.

The scene inside is stamped on a piece of Whisper White, the Christmas Tree is from the stamp set Lovely As A Tree and is stamped in Garden Green. I punched out tiny baubles from Red Glimmer Paper and stuck them onto the tree and I added some tiny stars punched using the Confetti Stars Border Punch. Then I stamped the cat from the Festive Fireplace Stamp Set, cut it out and coloured it black and stuck it to the card with dimensionals.

The little dog is from the Hey Girl Stamp Set, I stamped and coloured him in and gave him a sparkly red bow. I assembled the card in the same way as yesterdays card and lastly I added the sentiment from the Festive Fireplace Stamp Set.

Love the finished card....

Hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it..
