HAPPY EASTER

Hello and a Happy Easter to you...

Today is the last day of making Easter Goodies and cards so I have used my favourite stamp for the last card of the week.

This little bird has been my favourite since it was released for Sale-A-Bration and I am so going to miss it when Sale-A-Bration finishes on the 31st March.

The base card is Basic Grey and I have used one of the designs from the Have A Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack underneath the piece of Whisper White card.

I stamped the bird in Basic Black on to Whisper White then I brayered over the bird with Crushed Curry ink, then I sponged around the edges with more Crushed Curry ink and used my blender pen to take away some of the ink. I coloured its feet and beak with a Pumpkin Pie marker and added a tiny speck of white to the eyes with a White Gel Pen.

I stamped Happy Easter in Basic Grey and wound some Basic Grey Thick Bakers Twine around the card ending with a bow.

Flowering Fields meet Wildflower Fields

Hello and welcome back...

This is Day 3 of the Flowering Fields stamp set, it has some gorgeous images and it co-ordinates with another Freebie the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper. Just a reminder Sale-A-Bration runs until the end of March then they will be gone.....

Today's card has a little bit of both....

The card base is Thick Whisper White card then there is a layer of Early Espresso. On top of that are two pieces of Wildflower Fields DSP, (2/3rds of one design and a 1/3rd of another)

I stamped the little butterfly over the DSP and coloured them in with Calypso Coral and Hello Honey markers.

I stamped the Happy Birthday from Perfect Pairings onto Whisper White card and matted it onto Early Espresso. I stamped a little butterfly on it and coloured it in.

I put a piece of White Organza Ribbon around the card and finished it in a bow. Then I stuck the sentiment panel on using dimensionals.

Curvy Keepsake Wednesday

Hello and welcome back to another Curvy Keepsake Wednesday...

This weeks box is all about Designer Series Paper, Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper to be exact, its Free when you place an order for £45 during Sale-A-Bration (which finishes on the 31st March)

I have used three of the six double sided sheets to make these boxes, they co-ordinate with the Flowering Fields Stamp Set.

To give the boxes different coloured sides I cut out the box pieces then cut them in half diagonally across the bottom, then I stuck them back together again but alternating the colours. 

I made little tags with the Decorative label punch, I punched one out of DSP and one out of Whisper White card. I punched a hole and threaded some Bakers Twine through and tied it to the box.

The designs are really pretty... and I especially like the two contrasting papers on each of the boxes.

Sky is the Limit - Last Day to Order

Hello and welcome back...

I have had a fab weekend away, I was taking my son to visit Reading Uni and as its a 4 hour drive from here we stayed with my Best Friend for the weekend which was great. We even managed to do a little bit of crafting too, we thought we would use the Sale-A-Bration Freebies that she had which were Sky is the Limit and Flowering Fields, so today I am sharing the Sky is the Limit cards we made.

I really like this card, the base is Night of Navy with a layer of Soft Sky card on top. Then I have added a piece of Whisper White card that I have stamped with the World Map Stamp in Smoky Slate Ink.

I stamped the Plane twice in Night of Navy ink and cut them out, I stuck one on with dimensionals and the other I stuck directly onto the card. I stamped the sentiment onto some Whisper White card and cut it out using the Banner Triple Punch, then I punched two holes for White Bakers Twine to thread through.

I attached it behind the plane and then using a bone folder shaped the banner so that lifted up from the card and then attached it with some Tombow glue.

It's a really great male card...

This card is very similar but instead of stamping the background we put it through the Big Shot in the World Traveler Embossing Folder and then brayered over it with Pool Party Ink. 

The banner was also made in a similar way using the Banner Triple Punch and backed with Night of Navy card. I popped it on to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the planes in Night of Navy  and cut them out and attached them to the card as before One on dimensionals and the other direct on to the card.

Another great male card...
