Day 7 New In Colours - Rose Wonder

Hello and welcome back...

This is the last day for the New In Colour projects, although I am sure I will be revisiting them as they are with us for the next two years..... I have used the gorgeous Rose Garden Thinlits and the matching stamp set Rose Wonder.

For each base card I cut an A4 piece of card in half length ways, scored it at 10 1/2 cm and folded it in half.

I then cut a mat out of Whisper White and popped it through the Big Shot with the Rose Garden Thinlit. I carefully removed the Rose from the mat  and snipped the corners so I only had half the mat left.

I stuck this to the base card leaving a small border and then put the Rose back in to the mat. When cutting out intricate designs I use the Precision Base Plate as this gives a much better cut than using the Magnetic Platform and to get all those fiddly bits out I use the Die Brush its so much quicker and easier, especially when doing multiple cards.

The sentiment is from the matching stamp set Rose Wonder. I am so glad this made it into the New Catalogue its just so beautiful...

Blossom Birthday

Hello and welcome back....

And bringing the Rose Wonder week to a close, I have a pretty blossom card to share with you.

The base card is Real Red with a layer of Whisper White on top, I used the Curvy Corner Trio Punch to shape two of the corners.

I stamped the sentiment from the set And Many More in Real Red.

The flowers are made up from the small bloom from the Rose Garden Thinlits, the small flower from the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies and the flower from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

I went over the leaves and the flowers with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to give a fine shimmer of glitter all over.

I hope you have enjoyed this weeks projects using the Rose Garden Bundle and have been inspired to create your own beautiful cards.
All products used are listed below, remember to bundle and save!

Rose Birthday Card

Hello and welcome back...

Today's card is kind of a spin off from yesterday's card, as its using some of the parts I didn't use.. waste not as we crafters say.....

So this is the Watermelon Wonder rose I cut out, I used in inner bits for yesterday's card which left me this bit. So I stuck it onto some Blushing Bride Card and cut round it.

I did the same for the leaves, sticking them onto Pear Pizzazz and cutting them out.

I used the Curvy Trio Punch to shape the two corners, and stamped random dots on the background.

I used dimensionals to stick the rose to the card and added the leave with Tombow. I used the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add some sparkle all over the rose, and finally I added a few tiny gems here and there.

I have listed all the products used below for easy ordering.

Botanical Beauties

Hello and welcome back....

Today as promised I have two cards made using the gorgeous Botanical Gardens Bundle.

The gorgeous Botanical Gardens Bundle includes Botanical Blooms Stamp Set, Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper and Botanical Builder Framelits Dies, amazing value at £46.75, and not only that but if you buy this bundle you get to choose a FREE product from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. (One item free for every £45 spent). AND there are two products in the brochure which match this bundle, the Botanicals For You Stamp Set and the Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack......Talk about co-ordination....awesome.

To make the flower I have cut the large bloom out of one of the Botanical Garden DSP, its hard to see from the photo but I used the clear Wink Of Stella Glitter brush to give it a fine sheen of glitter, I also added it to the smaller bloom.

My base card is Thick Whisper White, I then added a layer of the DSP, the same one as the large bloom is cut from. I then added another layer of DSP and a layer of Whisper White which I had cut the edge with one of the dies.

Then I stamped Happy Birthday from the Rose Wonder Stamp Set in Basic Black.

Lastly I used the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add some sparkle to the flowers on the DSP. It looks so pretty.

The second card is almost identical to the first except that I used the reverse side of the second layer of DSP and added some tiny flowers.

I also used the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add some sparkle to the first layer of DSP, just around the edge.

And on the tiny flowers too.. plus some tiny gems in the center of each one.

Such a different look to the same card just by changing the paper around....love it.

Everything used to create these cards is listed below, for easy ordering just click on a product to go to my on-line store.
