Butterfly Basic Stamp Case Version 2

Hello and welcome back.....

As promised I have another cute case with a set of 4 cards and envelopes to share with you, this time in a different colourway...

The backing paper used here is from the Typeset Speciality DSP, the colour scheme is Lost Lagoon and Sahara Sand.

There are 4 cards and 4 matching envelopes. The cards base  is Lost Lagoon with a layer of Very Vanilla.

The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso and the tiny butterfly has been stamped in Lost Lagoon and punched out using the Bitty Butterfly punch.

I coloured in the flowers and stems using the blender pen  and added a little Gorgeous Grunge to the background.

Here I used the two butterflies from the Stamp Set and layered them...

Love the other sentiment in this Stamp Set, here I stamped it in Early Espresso...

A close up of the envelopes inside the case, decorated to match the cards...

Love this project, if you do too check back as I am going to be offering this as a kit for you to make yourself....

Beautiful Butterfly Basics

Hello and welcome back,

Today I have some more cards made using the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set...

The colours used on these cards are Night of Navy, Wild Wasabi and Crumb Cake...

This card has a double butterfly, cut using the Butterfly Thinlits and Night of Navy Card.

I stamped the top butterfly with white ink using the stamp from Gorgeous Grunge, giving it a speckled look..

The second card has a single butterfly and no white speckles...

And some matching envelopes to go with the cards...

Hope you like, thanks for stopping by...

Butterfly Basics Birthday

Hello and welcome back...

Today's cards feature the fabulous Butterfly Basics Stamp Set...

This is such a lovely Stamp Set with such a lot of possibilities ....

My colour scheme is Night of Navy and Old Olive, both firm favourites of mine, to get the lighter images I have stamped off and then on...

I used my Stampin'Write Markers in Night of Navy and Old Olive to colour the flower stamp and then my blender pen after I stamped it to give it that water colour look...

And some gorgeous Night of Navy Seam Binding Ribbon and a butterfly cut using the Butterfly Basics Thinlits and Night of Navy Card Stock....

On the second card I stamped the flower all in Night of Navy and then used the blender pen, rather like this look....

And had to decorate the envelopes, they are so pretty...

Hope you like today's cards thanks for stopping by...

The tin has been decorated with the same flowers I used on the cards, from the Stamp Set Crazy About You, I really like them....

These butterflies are just so beautiful, I have cut them out and then daubed them with matching inks... and if you love these intricate dies you are in for a real treat in the NEW Autumn/Winter Catalogue.....Just Sayin'

I have used one of my favourite sets in the background Gorgeous Grunge, stamped in Pool Party Ink....

You can fit two A6 cards side by side and there is enough room for six or more cards, so will make a lovely gift for someone...

English Garden Covered Notepads

Hello and welcome back..

I don't know about you but I really hate to waste beautiful paper, so I had some scraps left of the English Garden DSP and thought they would make very pretty note pads....

And I had to make a matching pen to go with the notepad.....

The butterfly is from the Butterflies Thinlits, which I have sponged with ink. The label is the Washi Label Punch and the Alphabet Rotary Stamp.

My paper didn't reach all the way around the back of the notepad so I had to use an extra bit, on one notepad I used the same design and on the other I flipped the paper and used the other design.

You can get notepads in all shapes and sizes so it a really simple way to use up those scraps.... and they make really pretty gifts too...

Butterfly Thinlits Cards

Hello and welcome back....

I hope you have had a good weekend, I had my best friend to stay for the weekend and we have had a great time crafting, messing around with different techniques, its been fab.....

The card I am sharing today is one that we were playing with, it stars the beautiful Butterfly Thinlits.....
My friend wanted to make a card using the negative ie using the butterfly as a stencil and daubing through, which was very pretty. I liked colouring the butterfly with different inks and using it as a focal point for the card....

You get 3 dies in the Butterfly Thinlits, the large and medium intricate cut butterflies and a solid butterfly which co ordinates with the butterfly from the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set.

I coloured each butterfly with 3 blue inks using the sponge daubers, starting with the darkest in the center to the lightest on the outer edge.

I used the spots and splodges from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set for the background. The sentiment is from the Wetlands Stamp Set.

I used the Decorative Label Punch to punch out the sentiment for this card, why? because I didn't get it straight on the card....lol

And there we have two beautiful cards...

Well I hope you liked today's cards, pop back tomorrow to see more of what we created...
