Hello and welcome back to another Curvy Keepsake Wednesday...
For this weeks box I have used two of my favourite dies, The Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits and the Bloomin Heart Thinlits. Both of which I am happy to say made it into the NEW Catalogue....Yippee..
Don't they look great in the New In Colours, I certainly love them..
I cut out two box pieces in each of the New In Colours, Sweet Sugarplum, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim. Them I cut out four Hearts for each box also in the New In Colours. I went over the hearts with my Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush before sticking then to the boxes and trimming around the edges.
Once assembled I added some of the matching Ruched Ribbon, which I hope you will admit is pretty gorgeous.

This weeks box features each of images from The Wilderness Awaits..
I cut the box parts out of Thick Whisper White card.
I stamped each of the images on to each side of the box.
I coloured each image using my Aqua Painter and ink pads.
Then I assembled the boxes.

This week's Curvy Keepsake Box is one that children and adults will love especially if they love Lego.. Plus if you love the Curvy Keepsake Box you will be happy to know that it is in the New Stampin'Up! Catalogue which is due out on the 1st June....YAY... So Love it or Hate it Curvy Keepsake Wednesday will continue on for another year....lol
These would make fantastic treat boxes for a birthday party, I would fill them with brightly coloured Skittles or M&Ms or Smarties.
I cut out the basic box in Daffodil Delight card and assembled them.
Next I made the Lego heads, I kept them simple for duplication purposes, but there are so many faces you could have a ball... I cut pieces of Daffodil Delight 1 5/8" x 2" and rounded the corners, then I added a small piece 3/8" x 7/8" to the top and a piece 1 3/16" x 3/8" to the bottom. the eyes are the 3/8" circle punch and the rest is drawn on using a Basic Black marker pen.
I used the white gel pen to add some highlights to their eyes and went around the edge of each piece with a Basic Black Marker before I assembled them.
Then I stuck them to the box using dimensionals, each box has two faces kind of like Good Cop Bad Cop on the Lego Movie.
For the tags I downloaded the Lego font which is Free (just Google it) and then printed out the names on to Whisper White card. I cut each letter out and mounted them on to some Daffodil Delight card, I then cut around this leaving a small yellow border. This was then mounted on a Real Red tag (approx 1 3/4" x 4 1/4"). For demonstration purposes I used short names so your size of tag will obviously depend on then name you use.
I used Thick Bakers Twine to attach the tag to the box. Also on hindsight I would print the name smaller for these boxes, but I had already printed them and was too lazy to go back an do it again....lol.

I have a fantastic little box to share with you today, if you are a follower of Game of Thrones then you will love this box, its a Red Dragon...
I am so loving this little chap, His body is a basic Curvy Keepsake Box in Real Red card assembled in the normal way and I have sponged Real Red ink around all the edges.
His tummy is the Extra Large Oval punch in Cherry Cobbler card, I assembled the head before attaching this to the box. The Wings are the Extra Large Oval shaped using the small Oval punch.
How cute is that tail, its a triangle of card 9 cm x 3 cm, then I used the small Oval Punch to cut grooves in it. I shaped it with a bone folder before attaching it to the box.
For the head I used the 1 3/8" Circle Punch and cut 2, (one for the front and one for the back) I then used my paper snips and shaped the head by taking a small groove out of each side and one out of the top. Next I punched out a Large Oval and cut a small groove in it to shape the snout. I used the large circle from the Owl Builder Punch to create the nostrils.
For the eyes I used the large circle from the Owl Builder Punch and punched out 2 white and one red. For the Black pupils I used the leaf from the Bird builder punch. I assembled the eyes and added them to the face and then added highlights with a White gel pen.
The ears are the wing from the Bird Builder Punch and the fire coming from his mouth is the birds tail also from the Bird Builder Punch, I cut 2 in Crushed Curry and 1 in Pumpkin Pie. To finish the head I used a small Oval behind the muzzle and then stuck the head to a piece of card 1/2" x 1 1/2" (neck) then to tidy up the back of the head I stuck the second head piece I cut out at the beginning.
