Day 4 Birthday Blossoms - Celebrate You

Hello and welcome back....

I have such a pretty card to share with you today....

I am really warming to the colour Watermelon Wonder I am using it more and more, I have used it here as the base card with a layer of Whisper White on top.

I stamped the sentiment in Basic Black, I just love this font and the sentiments in this stamp set.

I stamped the small flowers onto the Whisper White card and coloured them with a Crushed Curry marker and a little Watermelon Wonder in the center.

The larger flower and the leaves I stamped on a separate piece of Whisper White and cut them out, then coloured them with Watermelon Wonder, Crushed Curry  and Pear Pizzazz markers.

Build A Birthday Candles Card

Hello and welcome back...

Today's card uses the Build A Birthday stamp set and also the Cherry On Top Designer Washi Tape.

 

The candles are not stamped they are made using the Cherry On Top Washi Tape...Fun aren't they.

 

My base card is Delightful Dijon, with a layer of Whisper White cut shorter than the card base.

 

I cut the Washi Tape in varying lengths and then stamped the flame in Delightful Dijon on each candle.

 

I added some faux stitching around the edge with my Delightful Dijon Marker.

 

Then I made a little banner stamped with Birthday Wishes in Watermelon Wonder and popped it on the card with dimensionals. To finish I punched out a flower from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and added it to the banner.

 

 The same card but on a Cucumber Crush card base.

Build A Birthday Card

Hello and welcome back....

Today's card is simple but sweet....

 

I started off with a Thick Whisper White base card and added a Cucumber Crush mat.

 

Then I stamped the cake stand in Tip Top Taupe and the cake layers in Watermelon Wonder, Delightful Dijon and Cucumber Crush. I used the flower from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack to create some little flowers for the cake and added a pearl to each one.

 

Lastly I stamped the sentiment in Watermelon Wonder.

 

The thick Whisper White card is just perfect for card bases, I prefer to use the thinner Whisper White for stamping on and water colouring.

Build A Birthday meets Ballon Celebration

Hello and A Happy New Year...

On the 5th January 2016 our New Spring/Summer Catalogue goes live and today I am going to share a card which gives a sneak peak at a gorgeous stamp set from that catalogue.

 

The base card is Bermuda Bay, with a layer of Tip Top Taupe. I created the side panel using the New Stamp set Balloon Celebration, stamping one of the balloons in Bermuda Bay. Watermelon Wonder, Crushed Curry and Cucumber Crush.

 



 

I made a mask by stamping the balloon on a sticky note and cutting it out, then covering a balloon before stamping. I used the Tip Top Taupe Marker to draw the strings and the White Gel Pen to do some high lights on the balloons.

 

I stamped the cake stand in Tip Top Taupe and the cake layers in Bermuda Bay, Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush and Crushed Curry on a piece of Whisper White card and then cut it out. I added it to the card using dimensionals.

 

I stamped the sentiment at the top in Basic Black and added the flags on top which I had stamped on white card and cut out.

 

Finally I added some of the In Colour Blossom Accents to finish it off.

Sprinkles of Life Ice Cream Cones

Hello and welcome back...

Today's card features the gorgeous Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set, this set has 22 photopolymer stamps which you can mix and match to create stunning cards...and not only is this a fantastic Stamp Set but with every sale Stampin'Up will donate £2 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities which is pretty cool....

So I chose to combine two of the stamp to create these Ice Cream Cone Birthday cards.. I mean who doesn't love Ice Cream....mmmm

The stamp set has 8 great sentiments which can be used alone or combined, I used the "Happy Birthday" and the "Hope your day stacks up to be one good thing on top of another".

I used the splodges and dots from Gorgeous Grunge to make a background behind the Ice Cream Cone.

The colours are Watermelon Wonder, Delightful Dijon and Mint Macaron, with Crumb Cake for the cone.

There is also a matching punch which cuts out 7 of the images, which saves a lots of time cutting out...

Aren't they lovely and that's just using 4 of the 22 stamps, the possibilities are endless...

Happy Blooming Birthday Hand Bag

Hey there peeps and welcome back,

Today as promised is the final piece to the Happy Blooming Birthday set...
The Hand Bag for the cards to go in....

Its quite a big bag as it has to take 6" x 7" cards which is just short of A5. I used Cucumber Crush Card Stock to make the bag then added a piece of DSP around the middle so its quite a sturdy bag.

I then put another piece of card top and bottom to hide the joins, embellishing it with faux stitching and scallop edges.

I added a cute little pocket to the front which has been stamped with the Flower Patch stamp set.

And a cute teddy, not sure if I am going to leave him poking out of the pocket or if I will make him into a bag charm hanging from the handles!...

 Its quite roomy inside, plenty of room for 4 cards and 4 Envelopes, plus more...

 And here is the finished set, I am loving the way it has turned out...

Happy Blooming Birthday (part 4)

Well hello peeps and welcome back....

Yesterday was really hot, but not so hot here today, the garden isn't calling to me so its the perfect weather to stay in and craft lol....

So I have the last card in this Happy Blooming Birthday series of Gardening Teddy Bears and she is adorable.....

Here she is with her little pot of pink flowers and her packet of seeds.....

The top of this card looked a little sparse so I stamped some green branches from the stamp set Flower Patch and added a little butterfly from the stamp set Papillon Potpourri.

To stamp the word seeds I used the Alphabet Rotary Stamp, its a bit like those date stamps where you can create your own date, well with this you can create your own words and phrases...well cool...

Its funny I was happy with this card but felt it needed just a little bit more color so I added the two butterflies..perfect...lol

And here we have the finished set...just need to make some more envelopes and a bag for them to go in... check back tomorrow to see what I have made.

Happy Blooming Birthday (part 3)

Hey there and welcome back....

Today I have the third in this series of cards and he is too cute, I think he must be the youngest of the bunch sitting in between the plant pots up to mischief no doubt...lol

 And he is adorable....

 More pretty flowers from the Flower Patch set, they look a little like sunflowers...

And who would have thought I would get so much use out of Bohemian Borders...lol

Such a beautiful card if I do say so myself......
