Curvy Keepsake Wednesday

Hello and welcome back to another Curvy Keepsake Wednesday....

This weeks Curvy Keepsake box is a lot of fun, Its a little wagon and if you made lots of them you could have a Waggon Train....

They are simplicity itself, for this you will need to make up your Curvy Keepsake Box in whatever colour you like, I used Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Cobbler.

For the Waggon base you will need a piece of card 10 1/2" x 1" and scored at 2 1/2", 5", 7 1/2" and 10". I stamped mine with the Hardwood stamp to make it look like wood.

The box fits into the base and is held in place with some glue dots. The wheels are two circles glued together ( 1" and 3/4" ) and finished with a candy dot. They are attached to the base with dimensionals.

I used the Word Window Punch to make the hitch, I punched a circle in one end and attached it to the base as per the photo.

They are so cute and by changing the colours could be used for just about anything.

I hope you like, thanks for stopping by.....

Christmas Treat Handbags

Hello and welcome back...

Today I have made some tiny handbags inspired by Becky Roberts, she made these as part of her 12 days of Christmas projects back in 2012.... I kind of just guessed at the sizes although you can buy her tutorial which includes all 12 of her projects.

They are so cute and I just love the NEW Home for Christmas DSP... the pictures in the catalogue just don't do it justice...

I teamed it up with Mossy Meadow Card, what I love about Stampin'Up! is that they list the co-ordinating colours so you can match up your card stock with your Designer Series Paper perfectly...

I added one of the NEW Winter Wonderland Embellishments, so pretty and a little tag made with the Word Window Punch and the Teeny Tiny Sentiments Stamp Set.

The bag holds 4 Hershey's Nuggets quite nicely. These would be great as favours on your Christmas table or with a little present hanging on the Christmas tree.....

Hope you like, thanks for stopping by...

Fire Engine Card

Hey there and welcome back,

Today I have this really cool Fire Engine Card, actually it's an American Fire Truck, but I really like it, it's one of those Paper Piecing templates, this one is by Lynn Pratt and you can find them here at stampndesignstore

Seriously how cool is this, I know a few little boys who would be well chuffed to receive a card like this on their birthday....

The card stock I have used is Cherry Cobbler, Basic Grey, Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight,Basic Black and Whisper White. Inks used Basic Grey and Daffodil Delight and Signo White Gel pen for the highlights....

Thanks for stopping by, pop back soon...

Bear Punch Art Birthday Card

Hey there and welcome back,

Happy 1st May.....lol.... which means a three day weekend for most people...yay....

Today I have this awesomely cute Bear  birthday card....

The card is Island Indigo with Naturals Ivory. I used the fantastic Gorgeous Grunge Stampset to create the background, using Island Indigo and Baked Brown Sugar Ink.

I created a border using the Island Indigo Stampin'Write Marker... doing a dot dash dot dash...

Here is a close up of the Bear, he's been made with Chocolate Chip, Baked Brown Sugar, Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White Card Stock....

I used the Teeny Tiny Sentiments for the Happy Birthday and Modern Label and Word Window for his little banner. You can also see a little bit of Thick Bakers Twine...
Well I hope you like, Thanks for stopping by...
