March Card Class

Hellooo,

Had a lovely card making class this afternoon, we made three cards....

The first was inspired by a swap I received on Sunday at Michelle's Stamp With Me Reward Day, it was by a fellow P'ink Lady Claire Deacon. I just loved the colour combo Crumb Cake, Marina Mist and Very Vanilla
This is what we made, basically the same recipe, but instead of stamping the stripes on the bottom half we used crumb cake dsp from the neutrals stack and instead of the circle being stamped with dots we spritzed it with frosty white shimmer paint to give it some sparkle.
We also stamped birthday wishes from the So Happy For You SAB set.
Really pretty, thanks for the inspiration Claire.

The second card used Pacific Point, Soft Suede and Naturals Ivory cardstock (Sorry about the photos they are a bit rubbish). The pacific point cardstock was stamped with Le Francais stamp and then the swirl from the baroque motifs set.
The Soft Suede dsp was stamped with the flowers from the level 1 hostess set Punch Potpourri.
We used the tiny pearls for the birds eye and the center of the flowers, they are so gorgeous, I need to order more......I am using them so much.

The third card uses the stampset Just Believe and the butterfly and sentiment from the So Happy For You stampset. The cardstock is Pear Pizzazz and Poppy Parade, the little flowers are from the Boho Blossom Punch.

And of course more of those gorgeous pearls.
Well I hope you like them, thanks for stopping by....

Hellooo

Gosh its been nearly a week since my last post where has the time gone?  Well I was pretty busy last week and then I was away at the weekend, I thought I might do a bit of blogging whilst away but forgot to take the dongle and where we were staying wanted to charge £10 per day to use the WiFi, but only one person could access it at a time...... My children were not amused...
Hey Ho
Anyway we stayed in Newquay and  we found a fabulous house just look at this, talk about owning your own Island. How cool is that......
We had a brilliant time walking along the beach and exploring the caves, my children (12 & 15) still love messing about on the beach......
Josh pretending to be a zombie??????
Shep just loved being in the sea, he had such a great time.....
Anyway back to some crafting, this is card I made for a work collegue for her Mom's 80th Birthday..
The Baroque Motiffs Stamp set is fast becoming a favourite, it is so versatile, I have used it for christmas, birthdays and on scrapbook pages. Its gorgeous..
Anyway hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.....

Card Class

Hellooo

I had a lovely class Wednesday afternoon, we made three christmas cards using some of the new catalogue products.
The first card used Baroque Motifs and Tree Trimmings stamps sets, some of the new Christmas DSP, Real Red Taffeta Ribbon and tiny gems.

The second used the Comtempo Christmas stamp set, Cherry Cobbler Cardstock, Christmas DSP and Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon.

The last card was really simple, it used Night of Navy cardstock, Serene Snowflakes stamp set and the new Fiskars Crimper.

I saw the new crimper demo'd at the Regional Training and thought it was fab, I love the way you can crimp the middle of the card, we also saw how to make leaves as well, I will have to post a picture of some, they look great.
Anyway thats all for now...Thanks for dropping by...
