Flowering Fields - They Say Its Your Birthday!

Hello and welcome back..

Its day 5 of Flowering Fields and today's card is really pretty if I do say so....

This is a beautiful stamp set and its great for colouring in, which apparently is all the rage what with adult colouring in books( yikes I got a Game of Thrones one for Christmas...lol)

I used my markers to colour the stamps, the stalks and leaves are Old Olive and the flowers are Watermelon Wonder, Crushed Curry, Blackberry Bliss and Island Indigo. After stamping the images I then coloured them in with Calypso Coral, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Perfect Plum and Lost Lagoon.

I wrapped Linen Tread around the card three times and ended with a double bow. Then I stamped the sentiment on to Whisper White Card and cut it out, I used the corner rounder to shape two of the corners and stuck it on to the card with dimensionals.

Flowering Fields - Celebrate You

Hi there welcome back.....

We are continuing the Flowering Fields theme with today's card and adding a bit of Wildflower Fields as well.

I like this sentiment its from a fabby stamp set called Suite Sayings and is available from the Spring/Summer Catalogue until 31st May...

My card base is Old Olive with a layer of Blackberry Bliss, followed by a layer of Wildflower Fields DSP. I stamped the image in Old Olive and Blackberry Bliss using markers to colour the image, then I coloured in the leaves with Pear Pizzazz and the flowers with Perfect Plum.

I stamped the sentiments in Blackberry Bliss, then using a bone folder I curled the card so it would stand out. I used the Curvy Corner Trio Punch to shape two of the corners of the topper and mounted it on to a piece of Old Olive card and cut the corners to match. I used dimensionals to mount this on to the card.

I wrapped some thick bakers twine around the card finishing in a knot and then I frayed the ends. You can colour the thick white bakers twine using an ink pad or the re inkers, just make sure its dry before putting on you project....lol.

Flowering Fields - Happy Bloomin Birthday

Hello and welcome back...

Today's card is so cute and would be awesome for someone who loves to grow flowers or even just look at them. I love to do both but I have to admit I am probably better at the looking than the growing...lol.

I used Cucumber Crush for my card base and then put a layer of Whisper White on top.

I shaped the corners with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch.

I stamped the flowers in Basic Black and used Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo and Cucumber Crush Markers to colour them in. I added a tiny butterfly stamped in Basic Black and coloured it in with Basic Black, Island Indigo and Tempting Turquoise.

The pot has been hand cut from Pumpkin Pie card, however I did use a template I had made previously when I made my Gardening Teddies series, this would make a great punch (note to Stampin'Up!) as it comes in two pieces which you stick together. I sponged the pieces in Cajun Craze before assembly and then stuck it on the card with dimensionals.

Love this greeting, it comes from the set Flower Patch (a really awesome stamp set in itself).
