Day 1 Punch Art Week.

Hi there and welcome back....

This week is all about Punch Art and Paper Piecing, if you are a regular follower of my blog you will know that I love punch Art, it is a little time consuming but so much fun.

I am starting off the week with a Paper Piecing card which I made for a friend.

Obviously the little girl loves Frozen, so that had to be the theme of the card, so I decided to make Elsa, Anna and Olaf, she also wanted the little girls photo on the card so it is a little more crowded than I would normally like.

I cut out all the pieces using my Silhouette Cameo using Stampin' Up! card stock and sponged around the edges of each piece before assembling them. I used the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush on Elsa's dress for that extra bit of sparkle, it looks so pretty.

I used the Oval Collection Framelits to create a frame for the picture and also the Curvy Corner Trio Punch to shape the corners of the frame. ( This punch is retiring at the end of May so check out the retired list as it may be on Sale).

To create the Happy and Birthday banners I used the Number of Years Stamp Set and the Large Numbers Framelits and some Pacific Point Ink. I also used the Framelits to cut the number 4 out of silver card.

I added some snowflakes which I covered in Wink of Stella Glitter and popped them on the card with dimensionals.

I have listed all the products used below, to order just click on the picture to go directly to my on-line store, you will also find the retired list with the reduced prices here as well.

Product List
Paper piecing does use a lot of different card stock, I tend to use up my scraps of card when doing this sort of thing. I have a large scraps box and a small scrap box which is ideal when it comes to Punch Art.

I hope you like today's card pop back tomorrow for more Punch Art fun.

Easel Card Calendar

Hello and welcome back....

Today's Calendar is an Easel Card Calendar complete with Post-It notes. I love this one I have one on my desk and each year I just pop a new calendar on it....lol.
This one is for my daughter, hence all the pinkness...

This is really an Easel card with Post-It notes to hold the card open. I started with half an A4 piece of card cut lengthways as before. Then score it at 14.9cm and 7.5cm, which give you the basic easel. I used Melon Mambo card for the base.

Again with this type of calendar you need to choose something that you will love looking at all year, hence the cute pink teddy, I love the way she is holding the calendar. She is a paper piecing teddy and each piece has been sponged before assembly. The mat behind the teddy is Pink Pirouette with a layer of Melon Mambo behind that. I used the Curvy Corner Trio Punch to shape all the corners, even on the Post-It notes. The background is a mixture of Gorgeous Grunge and the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp sets.

The sentiment is from An Open Heart, stamped in Melon Mambo, and a little Gorgeous Grunge and some tiny pearls for some prettiness........

This calendar also folds flat for posting, but due to the Post-It notes its not normal postage. Luckily she is home from Uni so I can give it her to take back with her...

She will love it...

I have listed all the products used below so if you need anything just click on a product to go directly to my on-line shop, its open 24/7.

Thanks for stopping by, pop back Thursday for calendar number Three......

Cute Rudolf Slider Box with card.

Hello and welcome back...

Today's project is a Slider Box with a card and on the front is a cute Paper Piecing Reindeer.... and he is so adorable...yes I know I always say that...but he is.

The card and box are all in one, the front of the card is 3" x 6" and it is 1" deep.
The sleeve is 6" x 12" and is scored at 3", 4", 7", 8" and 11". The box tray is 4 7/8" x 7 7/8" and scored at 1" on all sides.

I cut Rudolf out on my Silhouette Cameo, using Choc Chip, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Garden Green and for his nose Red Foil Card. All pieces are sponged before assembly and I used the White Gel Pen to do highlights.

I masked off the bottom of the card front and brayered Soft Sky Ink over the top part, then I stamped the trees from the Wonderland Stamp Set and added some snow using the White Gel Pen. Then I stamped Merry Christmas at the bottom of the card front in Real Red.

I put a piece of Very Vanilla on the inside of the card and stamped another sentiment from the Flurry of Wishes Stamp Set.... love this its so pretty.

Inside you could put Chocolates ( I managed to get 24 Hersheys Nuggets inside) its quite big, or you could put in some Jewellery instead.

It makes such a fun gift with card included.

I have listed all the products used to make this below, if you would like to order just click on the picture to be taken to my online store...Please note only orders received on or before December 13th can be guaranteed to be delivered by Christmas.... So get your orders in now!

Snow Pals Sleigh Ride

Hello and welcome back.....

I don't know about you, but I have phases of doing things, and at the moment I am in my Paper Piecing Phase again!!!  Paper Piecing is a little more time consuming but I think well worth the effort. The card I am sharing today is an A5 card and features some cute little friends out in their sleigh. And aren't they just adorable.....

The base card is Chocolate Chip with a mat of Very Vanilla, I masked off the bottom half of the card and then brayered Soft Sky over the top half of the card. Then using the gorgeous trees from the Wonderland stamp Set I stamped some trees in Garden Green and then removed the mask.

The Merry Christmas is from the Sassy Salutations Stamp Set, I stamped it in versamark and then added Gold embossing powder.

I added snow to the background using my White Gel Pen, I also used it to add some snow to the trees.

I cut out all the pieces for the Paper Piecing on my Silhouette Cameo, I used Choc Chip, Garden Green and Pacific Point for the sleigh, plus a little Gold Paper for the star. The mouse is Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand and the snow bear is Whisper White card stock.

Rudolf is Choc Chip, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake, with some Pacific Point for his scarf. The flowers on the wreath are from the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set and are stamped in Real Red with gold dots in the middle. I used Real Red Card for his nose then added some Crystal Effects to make his nose shine. All pieces have been inked around the edges before assembly.

This was such a fun card to make, I just love these adorable little critters......... I have also used a NEW product from the Spring/Summer catalogue, its a glitter brush pen, its really great for fine detail or for large areas that you want to give a little glitter to. Available from January 5th.... pre order your catalogue from me now....
