Christmas Table Place Names

Hello and welcome back....

I have been busy preparing for Christmas day, we are spending Christmas with my Best Friend and her family so I will be away from home for a week so this could be my last post for a while....maybe...
So my friend decided we needed place cards for the Christmas table.....

So here they are..... using two of my favourite stamp sets, Santa's Gifts and Snow Place. I did a bit of brayering, I masked off the bottom part of the Place card and brayered Soft Sky on the top part, then stamped the trees from the Happy Scenes stamp set in Garden Green.

I removed the mask and added some snow detail to the trees and ground using a white gel pen. The names were made using the Rotary Alphabet Stamp and Word Window Punch.

I decided to do half of them with Penguins on and half with Reindeers on, I stamped them in Basic Black and then used a blender pen to colour them in.

And I couldn't forget that little bird, here I made him a little Robin....

I think everyone liked them....

I have listed all the products used to make them below, but hurry because there is only 9 more days left to order from the Autumn/Winter catalogue and then they are gone....

Santa's Gifts Slider Box Card

Hello and welcome back......

Today I have some more Slider Box Cards to share with you, these are a cute 3" x 3" x 1" deep and I have used the Stamp set Santa's Gifts to decorate them....

They are the perfect size for chocolate, (these fit 12 Hersheys Nuggets perfectly), or if you don't want to put Chocolate in then they will fit lots of other things like jewellery, make up, even a pair of socks...lol.

I know I have said it loads before but I do love this stamp set, I masked off the bottom part of the card and brayered the top part with Soft Sky ink, then using the trees from the stamp set Wonderland I stamped a few trees in the background with Garden Green ink. I used my White Gel pen to add some snow to the trees and the sky.

Inside is a layer of Very Vanilla ( 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" ) which I have stamped Merry Christmas in Real Red, this sentiment is from the stamp set Flurry of Wishes.

The card box dimensions are 3" x 12" and scored at 3", 4", 7", 8" and 11" along the long side. The box inner is 4 7/8" x 4 7/8" and scored at 1" on all sides.

This one is filled with yummy chocolates....

These boxes are the same width but half the height of the last slider box I made and are really cute, they would be great as teacher gifts or as a little gift for a child to give friends.

I hope you enjoyed, thanks for stopping by.......

Santa Hugs Christmas Cards

Hello and welcome back...

I loved the cute tags I made on Tuesday so decided to make some Christmas cards....

So I used a Thick Whisper White card base, then I cut a piece of Whisper White card to mat on top. I used the Curvy Corner Trio Punch to shape the top and the corner punch to shape the bottom.

Then I brayered Soft sky over the top of the card, I created a mask by stamping the trees from the Happy Scenes stamp set on to some sticky paper and cutting along the ground. I attached this to the bottom of the card before I brayered.

I then stamped the trees where the sky meets the ground which is now the perfect shape, I used the white Gel pen to add some snow to the trees and to the sky. I also drew along the ground and under the trees.

I stamped and cut out the figures and coloured them with a blender pen and ink pads and added some glitter here and there.

They are so adorable, I just love these cute figures.

And there we have it, some super cute Christmas cards...

I have listed everything I used to make these cards below, just click on a product to go to my on-line store...Thank you.

A Hug from Santa...

Hello and welcome back....

I am loving the Christmas Stamp Set Santa's Gifts, it has such cute images.... Here I have been using it to make some more tags for Christmas Gifts...

Are they not adorable...I think so... Santa is giving Rudolph a big hug to say thank you for another great year...

To make the tag I cut 9 tags from one A4 sheet of Thick Whisper White Card, they are approx. 7cm x 10cm. Then I punched a slot at the top using the Curvy Corner Trio Punch, and using the same punch I punched the rounded corners. I brayered the top part of the tag with Soft Sky Ink and stamped the sentiment in Basic Black at the top.

Then I stamped the Pine Trees from the Happy Scenes Stamp set in Garden Green and added some snow effects using the White Gel Pen.

I stamped Santa, Rudolph and the little Bird in Basic Black and fussy cut them out. Then using my Blender Pen and ink pads I coloured them all in. I added some glitter accents to the Birds scarf and to Rudolph's scarf.

I coloured the white bits of Santa with the White gel pen and added some glitter to his hat and coat trim. I used a silver sharpie to colour his belt buckle. I put a little glitter on Rudolph's nose as well. So that Santa could give Rudolph a hug I cut down Santa's arm so Rudolph can fit in. Then I put Santa on the tag with dimensionals and stuck Rudolph's body to the tag leaving his head free. Lastly I popped the little bird on top of the tree.

I have listed all the products used to make these tags below, just click on an of them to go to my online store...

Perfect Pines Christmas Tags

Hello and welcome back....

Today I have some more Christmas tags to share with you, made using the Peaceful Pines Framelits dies.

I cut 9 tags from one sheet of A4 Crumb Cake card (same as last time) then using the Curvy Corner Trio Punch I cut the little slots for the ribbon and also shaped the corners.

Then using the Season of Cheer Washi Tape I added 3 strips across the middle of the tag, leaving room for the sentiment at the bottom.

Then I cut out the trees using the Perfect Pines Framelits die and using a second die cut the little v's in the trees which then pop up. The paper is English Garden DSP, I had some scraps left over which was just enough for the trees.

The sentiment is from the stamp set Santa's Gifts, stamped in Cherry Cobbler and then I have stamped snowflakes in Crumb Cake at the bottom of the tag and at the top of the tag.

Then I have added some of the 1/8" striped ribbon through each of the slots and stapled it in place.

Lastly I added the To and From in Soft Suede ink and a little bird at the bottom of the tag.... Finished....

Snow Way Card in a Box

Hello and welcome back....

Today I have another card in a box to share with you this time using the Snow Place Stamp Set and matching Snow Friends framelits, along with the Peaceful Pines and matching Perfect Pines Framelits.

The card box base has been made exactly the same as yesterday, I made up 3 from a piece of 12" x 12" Real Red card. Then I added a piece of Soft Sky card 3 1/4" x 3 3/4" which I had put through the Big Shot in the Softly Falling Embossing folder.

Then I took some Merry Moments Designer Series Paper, (one 3 1/4" x 1 3/4" and two 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" ) and stuck them to the flaps. I made a banner using the Snow Way sentiment and added some holly which I had coloured using Stampin'Write markers and popped it on the front.

Then I stamped and cut out the penguin and snowmen plus accessories and stuck them in the box.

Next I stamped and cut out the trees from the Peaceful Pines stamp set and added them to the box. One of the dies cuts little v's in the tree which push up to give a 3D effect, really pretty.

And finally I added a little bird on top of the large snowman's candy cane, he's from the Santa's Gifts stamp set and some stars I punched out using the Confetti Stars border Punch.

And here's the finished card, so, so cute...

Woodland Snowman Noel

Hello and welcome back....

I have a real cute card to share with you today, created using the Snow Place Stamp Set and matching dies....Remember Bundle and save.....

I used Thick Whisper White card for my base and layered it with a piece of Island Indigo. Then I took a piece of Whisper white and put it through the Big Shot in the Woodland Embossing folder, but before I did that I inked up the Embossing folder with some Island Indigo ink, so I got that great background...such a fab technique...

I stamped all my pieces for the snowmen and then cut them out using the matching Framelits dies, then I assembled each one ready to add to the card.

I cut the Noel from the Wonderful Wreath Framelits out of Red Glimmer Paper and stuck it to the card using Tombow glue. I also stamped the little bird from the stamp set Santa's Gifts, I coloured him in and cut him out...so cute.

I added a piece of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper to the bottom of he card to look like sparkly snow and then I put the Snowmen and the little Bird on with dimensionals.

Such a cute card I love the way they are looking at the bird and it makes them so happy...

There are lots of different accessories you can use with the Snowmen and the Penguin, this card has him wearing a Santa hat..

And remember if you buy the Snow Place and Snow Friends Bundle you save 15% off the regular price if brought separately.....Awesome..

Hope you like today's card, thanks for stopping by...
