New In Colours Day 5 - Birthday Balloons
Hello and welcome back....
Today I have a set of Birthday Cards to share with you, they would be great to give as a gift or to use for Birthdays individually.
I love the way Stampin'Up! products go so well together, here I have teamed the card, ink and ribbon.
Each card has an In Colour card base with a Whisper White mat.
The balloon has been cut out using the Balloon Framelits, I cut two of each colour. The top one I have punched out stars using the Confetti Stars Border Punch, then I added some Wink Of Stella to the bottom balloon and stuck the star balloon on top. I hand drew the string using the matching marker pen.
The Happy Birthday is (yes you guessed it) from the Tin Of Cards stamp set, I placed it on the block so I has a larger gap in between for the string to hang down.
I added some of the matching Ruched Ribbon and stamped some stars from the Perpetual Birthday Stamp Set and then stuck it to the card base.

Lego Ninjango Birthday Card
Hello and welcome back....
Today's card is a take on the Lego Ninja's or Ninjango.....
My base card is Basic black with a layer of Designer Series Paper which I sponged with Crushed Curry ink. The top layer is Whisper White which I have stamped with the stars from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set (which is still in the New catalogue...happy dance...) in Basic Black ink.
The head is Crushed Curry card which I have cut in the shape using a Free template from the Lego site, I just resized it to suit.
The eyes are 3/8" circles of Basic Black card and the white pupils are the 1/8" circle punch, the eyebrows are hand cut. I stamped the sentiment from the Number of Years stamp set in Basic Black.

Lego Brick Birthday Cake
Hello and welcome back....
This week is all about Lego, I love the stuff, my children loved to play with it, it was and still is a big thing in our house.....
So I thought I would make a Birthday Cake using Lego Bricks.
I started off with a Pacific Point card base, and added a Real Red layer and then a Daffodil Delight layer.
The Daffodil Delight brick is sized at 3 cm x 3 cm, the circles are 3/8" and are attached with dimensionals (cut down to fit), I have sponged around the edges with Daffodil Delight ink.
The Pacific Point Brick is 4 1/2" cm x 3 cm and the Real Red Brick is 6 cm x 3 cm. I have used the Happy Birthday from the Number of Years stamp set stamped in Pacific Point. I stamped stars from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set around the edge in Daffodil Delight and to finish I added white gel pen highlights.
I decorated inside the card with stars and added the verse from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set i thought it was quite apt.....

Happy 18th Birthday
Hello and welcome back...
Today is my Sons 18th Birthday and this is the card I made for him....
I used the Build a Birthday Stamp set to stamp the cake stand in Smoky Slate and then I cut it out and stuck it to the card with dimensionals.
I stamped the background with the spats from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp set and the Stars from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar Stamp set in Island Indigo.
I used various Washi Tapes to create the layers on the cake and stamped the flag topper on the top in Island Indigo.
I used a new set from the Spring / Summer catalogue to cut out the 18 from Silver card, love the new size.
