Garden Visitors

Hello and welcome back...

I was inspired to make this card from this...

I love watching the birds in my garden and I had a real treat when two Gold Finches have started to visit, I am so glad I persevered with the Nyger Seed...

I have used the Chevron Border Punch to create the little bird house roof and the Banner Triple Punch for the house. Then added 1/16" circle for the perch and 1/8" circle for the entrance to the bird house.

The little bird is from the Tree Builder Punch as is the tiny yellow flower, the leaves climbing up the post are from the Bird Builder Punch. The branch has been cut out with my cutting machine and then stamped with the Stamp Set A Sheltering Tree...

The sentiment is from the Stamp Set Remembering Your Birthday....

So there we have it, a cute little garden scene......

Hope you like my little garden scene, thanks for stopping by.....

Just for you & English Garden DSP

Hello and welcome back....

Today I have a little box and card set to share with you....
I have used the gorgeous English Garden DSP and the Stamp Set Watercolour Wings....

I used the Bold Butterfly Framelits to cut out the beautiful little buterflies and then I sponged them with my daubers to add colour to them.

I used my Triple Banner Punch to make the little banners and stamped them with the sentiment from Watercolour Wings and stapled it to the card using my Handheld Stapler.

The backing paper is the gorgeous English Garden Designer Series Paper, the designs are just beautiful...

The colours are Chocolate Chip, Hello Honey and Whisper White, the box is Chocolate Chip and Old Olive. The beauty of these papers is that they match a large range of Stampin'Up! colours..

I hope you like today's project, thanks for stopping by...

Zoo Babies Happy Birthday.

Well hello and welcome back..

We are back home in Wales now so hopefully I will be back to normal ish soon....
Today's card features the Zoo Babies Stamp Set again, I am really loving this stamp set...

I have used Basic Grey, Watermelon Wonder and Whisper White Card Stock...

To make the little flag I used the Triple Banner Punch and stamped the Happy Birthday from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments in Watermelon Wonder ink. I used my Stampin'Write marker to add faux stitching around the edge and then wrapped it around a cocktail stick..

The stars are stamped in Delightful Dijon and are from the Be The Star Stamp Set....

I stamped the animals on Whisper White Card Stock and then cut them out before attaching them to the card with dimentionals. I used Smoky Slate for the Elephant, Cucumber Crush for the Crocodile, Delightful Dijon for the Lion, Basic Black for the Zebra, Soft Suede for the Monkey, Melon Mambo for the Toucan and Watermelon Wonder for the Giraffe..

And an Envelope to match...

How cute is that...

Zoo Babies Birthday

Hey There and welcome back...

How are you, has it been hot where you are? It certainly has here in London, unbearably so...not that I am complaining really....but it does make travelling around a tad uncomfortable...

Well today's card features the Zoo Babies stamp set..

This is such a cute set, the first card features the Rhino, Lion and Toucan, which I have stamped in Smoky Slate, Pacific Point and Pumpkin Pie in a random way on Whisper White card.

Which is mounted on a piece of Pacific Point and then on to a Smoky Slate card blank.

Then I made a little banner using the Triple Banner Punch and added a Pumpkin Pie button and some bakers twine.

And its not complete without a matching envelope...

The second card is the same except this time I used the Elephant, Giraffe and Monkey...

And there are still two animals I didn't use a Zebra and a Crocodile, what a great set...

Have a great weekend, thanks for stopping by..

Cute Koala Birthday Card

Helloooo and welcome back..

I have been having fun making this cute little fellow, he is sooo adorable....

The sentiment is from a long retired set called Sincere Salutations, I stamped it in Chocolate Chip and then punched it using my New Banner Triple Punch, added two small holes and threaded some Thick Bakers Twine through to hold it on to the card.

The striped background was created by drawing lines with an Old Olive Marker on to Old Olive Card, alternating thick and thin lines, I thought it looked quite effective....

I also did some faux stitching around the outside of the card with an Old Olive Marker.. I used the Circles Collection Framelits to make the two circles behind cuddly Koala, one in Old Olive and one in Whisper White.

And here is the finished card, if you would like to make the cuddly little Koala you will find him Here..cuddlycutedesigns

Happy Fathers Day Card

Hey there and welcome back,

I thought I would get a head start on Fathers Day and not leave it until the last minute like usual....
Since we live by the sea I thought I would go for a nautical theme and what could be better that The Open Sea.....lol.

I really love the images in this stamp set.....

The Whisper White background is stamped with Crumb Cake Ink using the World image from the set, to get it I stamped off the card and then on the card giving me a lighter image. I did the same when stamping the dote from the Gorgeous Grunge set. I used another image to stamp a background on the Soft Sky Card.

The sentiment is from the Crazy About You set, If you have the clear mount set you can line up the Happy and the Father's Day stamps on the same block and stamp them together.

I stamped the anchor on a piece of Whisper White and cut it out and tied it to the card with some Thick Bakers Twine. Then I added a piece of the Burlap Ribbon which I had frayed the edges of.

And there you have the finished card....

The card stock I used was Soft Suede, Soft Sky and Whisper White. The Inks were Soft Suede, Soft Sky and Crumb Cake.

Thanks for joining me today...
