Flipper the Dolphin

Hello and welcome back..

I made Flipper a while ago but hadn't gotten around to making his card, so decided it was time...

I used a background I had created previously using the Acrylic block watercolour technique...check back on previous posts for method..

Then I stamped the shoal of fishes in versamark ink and sprinkled silver embossing powder over, you can see how they shine just like real fish darting through the water...

The Happy Birthday is from the Remembering Your Birthday Stamp Set and the little crab and star fish are from the Sea Street Stamp Set.

I wound some Linen Thread around the card and tied it in a knot.

Flipper is a paper Piecing Template which I cut out on my Silhouette Cameo, I sponged all the pieces before sticking him together, then added some detail using the White Gel Pen.

I added a little bit of stamping to the envelope back and front.... so cute...

And there he is all done...

I hope you like Flipper, thanks for stopping by...

Shamu The Killer Whale

Hello and welcome back....

Today's card is an adorable Killer Whale called Shamu (they don't come with names so you just have to have a little bit of fun with them..), my friend said he looked just like Shamu from Sea World, so that was it....lol

The background has been created using the Acrylic Block Watercolours Technique and Stampin'Write Markers. The colours are Pacific Point, Tempting Turquoise and Pool Party...

The sentiment is from the Remembering Your Birthday Stamp Set, stamped on Whisper White and cut into a little banner, then stuck onto the card using Dimensionals. The shell is from a retired Stampin'Up set.

I cut out the Whale using my Cameo, pieced it together then added some highlights using a White Gel Pen. Then I added some White Perfect Accents, Its hard to tell from the photo but they look just like bubbles.

So here we have the finished Shamu card....love it...

I hope you enjoyed today's card, thanks for stopping by...

Sammie The Seal

Hey there and welcome back....

I have been having a lot of fun using my new Cameo, I really love it but have only scratched the surface of what it can do, I purchased some Paper Piecing Patterns some time ago and had been cutting them out by hand and then I found out that the Cameo could do it for me and I was well and truly hooked....

So here is today's card, an adorable Seal called Sammie....

I have used the Acrylic Block Watercolour Technique to do the background and Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight Stampin'Write Markers on Acrylic Block E.

I created the little flag sticking the birthday banner to a cocktail stick, the sentiment is from the Remembering Your Birthday Stamp Set.

I cut out all the pieces and sponge daubed around the edges of each piece before sticking them together and popping it onto the card with dimensionals.

I used my Stampin' Trimmer to score two lines across the bottom of the card and then wound some Bakers Twine in between the lines and finished it with a button.

Isn't he just the cutest.....

I hope you like today's card, thanks for stopping by...

Walli the Walrus

Hey there and welcome back...

I don't know about you but I am a sucker for anything cute and adorable and Walli here is both. He has been cut out using my Silhouette Cameo using Chocolate Chip Card plus some scraps of Whisper White, Basic Black, Basic Grey and Soft Sky...

The card base is Chocolate Chip with a layer of Bermuda Bay on top...

The sentiment is from the Remembering Your Birthday stamp set which I stamped in Chocolate Chip on to Whisper White Card then put through the Banner Triple Punch to make a flag which I attached to a pretty cocktail stick and then attached it to the card using glue dots...

Walli is so cute, I cut out all the pieces and sponge daubed around all the edges before assembling him then I added some highlights using the White Gel Pen. The background has been created using the Acrylic Block Watercolour Technique using Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Markers.

Then using my Stampin' Trimmer I made two score lines and put some Bermuda Bay Sequins between the two lines...

Then I used one of the stamps from Gorgeous Grunge to stamp some pebbles on the beach in Chocolate Chip ink...

And the finished card is just adorable....lol...

So I hope you like today's card, thanks for stopping by....
