Hello and welcome back...

For today's card I used the stamp set A Beautiful Ride and teamed it with a (non Stampin'Up!) VW Camper Van stamp, this was a commission for a collegue who was going on Holiday with a friend in her VW Camper Van and it was the friends birthday....

The base card is Tempting Turquoise with a layer of Melon Mambo and a layer of Crushed Curry.

I stamped the sentiment in all three colours, using the markers to ink up the stamp.

I did the same with the Happy Birthday and the balloons...

I stamped the Camper Van on to Very Vanilla card and cut it out. Then I stamped it again on to Pool Party card and cut out just the bottom section which I attached to the first piece.

I coloured the wheels Black and used a metallic silver pen to colour the Wheel Hub Caps and Bumpers.

Bumblebee Blooms

Hey there and welcome back...

I am so happy to share today's card, it features one of my favourite things....Bumble Bees...I don't know why but I just adore them!!
I have used two stamp sets on this card, Birthday Blooms (main Catalogue) and Dragonfly Dreams (New in the Spring/Summer Catalogue).

The base card is Wild Wasabi, I stamped the flower image on to Whisper White card and then water coloured the image with Wild Wasabi for the leaves, Pink Pirouette for the petals and Crushed Curry for the Stamen.

I stamped the sentiment in Basic Black and stamped the Bumble Bees in Basic Black on a separate piece of Whisper White card and fussy cut them out. There is a matching die set which you can use to cut them out but I wanted a close cut.

I added them to the card using dimensionals and added some Wink of Stella to the wings to make them sparkle.

Day 7 Picture Perfect meets Botanical Blooms

Hello and welcome back....

I love today's card, it's just one of those cards you make and think wow that's gorgeous....lol

So I started with a Crumb Cake base card, then I added a layer of Very Vanilla card on top of which is a layer of Whisper White which I have stamped on.

I stamped the Hardwood stamp in Sahara Sand and then I sponged some Crumb Cake all over it. I then stamped the sentiment in Basic Black in the top left corner, this could be anything to suite, ie it could be a birthday card, I chose Celebrate You from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set.

I stamped the Hummingbird on a separate piece of Whisper White card using Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant inks. I then cut it out ready to attach to the card with dimensionals.

I cut out the flowers and leaves using the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies, I used Crushed Curry, Watermelon Wonder and Pumpkin Pie card for the flowers and Old Olive and Wild Wasabi card for the leaves. I embossed the flowers to give them some dimension before sticking them to the card. I added a tiny pearl which I had coloured black to the center of each flower.
