Day 2 Birthday Blossoms meets Everything Eleanor

Hello and welcome back...

I love the colours of today's card, they are all from the Subtles Collection...

The base card is Thick Whisper White with a layer of Pool Party on top, then I have a layer of Whisper White which I have put through the Big Shot in the Brick Wall Embossing Folder.

I stamped the flower in Basic Black and then coloured them in with a Pool Party marker, then I went over the flower again to create highlights using the same marker. I did the same with the leaves using a Pear Pizzazz marker. The middle of the flower is So Saffron.

I stamped the beautiful flourish from Everything Eleanor on to the Whisper White wall and then added the flowers using dimensionals and the leaves using Tombow glue. I stamped the sentiment in Basic Black and made it into a little banner and popped it on the card with dimensionals. Lastly I added some tiny gems, like little drops of dew to the card.

Curvy Keepsake Wednesday

Hello and welcome back to another Curvy Keepsake Wednesday.....

This weeks box is a real cutie, its a little Igloo with my favourite little Penguin....

 

There is definitely Snow Place Like Home.......lol.

 

The box is cut out of Thick Whisper White card using the Curvy Keepsake Box die and the pieces have then been put through the Big Shot in the Brick Wall Embossing Folder. I then assembled the boxes and lightly brayered Pool Party Ink over the bricks.

The door has been created using the Extra Large and Large Oval Punches and put together using dimensionals with a little bit of sponging using Pool Party Ink.

 

This shows which way around the bricks are....

 

Then I made a sign using the Hardwood Stamp and the sentiment from the Snow Place Stamp Set and punched it out using the Washi Label Punch.

 

Then I stamped and cut out the Penguin and added a few cute details to him and to the Igloo.

 

They are super cute....

Snow Place Cute & Cuddly.

Hello and welcome back....

Today we are going Cute & Cuddly and if you have seen The Penguins of Madagascar you will get my drift....lol. The stamp set is called Snow Place.

 

And what are they doing inside...up to mischief no doubt.. The base card is Thick Whisper White, then there is a piece of normal Whisper White which has been put through the Big Shot in the Brick Wall Embossing Folder. This has been stuck to the base card using Tombow.

 

Next I cut out a window using the Hearth and Home Thinlits Dies and also a piece of white card to go behind it, then using the window as a template I drew the windows o the card so I knew where to stamp my penguins.

 

I masked each window pane off individually and stamped each penguin at a jaunty angle, then using dimensionals I stuck the window to the card with the penguins on. I used a blender pen to colour the background and their beaks. Then I stuck it to the Brick Wall.

 

I stamped Merry Christmas on to some Whisper White card and added some holly to each end, rounded the corners and popped it onto the card with dimensionals. A little bit of Dazzling Details to he top and bottom of the window finished it off.

 

Cute and Cuddly it is.....

Hearth and Home Christmas

Hello and welcome back.....

Today's card follows on from yesterdays, it's using the Hearth and Home Thinlits Dies to create a six pane window...

 

So instead of being on the inside looking out we are on the outside looking in at a beautiful Christmas Tree and a cute little dog... The background is the Brick Wall embossing Folder, I took a piece of Sahara Sand Card and embossed it, then I brayered over the bricks with Chocolate Chip ink.

 

I cut the six pane window out of Choc Chip card and brayered very gently over it with Choc Chip ink. I stamped the pine garland in Garden Green and Choc Chip ink onto Whisper White and then cut it out.

 

The scene inside is stamped on a piece of Whisper White, the Christmas Tree is from the stamp set Lovely As A Tree and is stamped in Garden Green. I punched out tiny baubles from Red Glimmer Paper and stuck them onto the tree and I added some tiny stars punched using the Confetti Stars Border Punch. Then I stamped the cat from the Festive Fireplace Stamp Set, cut it out and coloured it black and stuck it to the card with dimensionals.

 

The little dog is from the Hey Girl Stamp Set, I stamped and coloured him in and gave him a sparkly red bow. I assembled the card in the same way as yesterdays card and lastly I added the sentiment from the Festive Fireplace Stamp Set.

 

Love the finished card....

Wondrous Wreath Christmas

Hey there welcome back..

For this card I started off with a Cherry Cobbler card base and added a Whisper White mat which had been embossed with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder.

 

I cut the window out of Chocolate Chip card, then I cut a piece of vellum to go behind the window and embossed it with the Bo Ho Chic Embossing Folder and stuck it to the back of the window, then I cut a piece of Daffodil Delight and stuck that behind the vellum. Then I attached it to the card with dimensionals.

 

The wreath is stamped first in Old Olive, then Mossy Meadow and then the berries in Cherry Cobbler. Then I cut it out using the matching Framelits Dies. Then I stamped and cut out five of the little flowers and embossed then to give them dimension and used my Gold pen to colour the dots in the center. I stuck them to wreath and added a bow I cut out of red glitter paper using the Framelits dies.

 

I used dimensionals to attach the wreath to the window. The sentiment is from the Happy Scenes Stamp Set, stamped in Cherry Cobbler and punched out using the Word Window Punch.

 

I love the vellum effect behind the window it's like net curtains and the yellow gives the illusion of a light being on....

Hearth & Home By The Sea

Hello and welcome back.....

Today's card is again using the Hearth and Home Thinlits Dies, but this time teamed with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder.....

The base card here is Chocolate Chip. The next layer is Whisper White which has been put through the Big Shot in the Brick Wall Embossing Folder. I have brayered over the raised bricks with Pool Party ink.

The window has been cut out of Very Vanilla and I have used the Tea Lace Paper Doilies to make some faux curtains, then I have put a piece of So Saffron card behind the window frame.

I stuck the flower box under the window and put a piece of Cucumber Crush card in behind it, then added some tiny flowers with a touch of glitter in the center. I added the little seahorse to the window (inspired by a house down by the Harbour that has one just like this...)

Lastly I added a little banner with a Birthday sentiment from the Build a Birthday Stamp Set...

The finished card reminds me of the houses down by the harbour with their different coloured painted bricks...so pretty....
