Summer Silhouettes Beautiful Birthday

Well hello and welcome back...

I am so loving this Stamp Set Summer Silhouettes it is definitely a favourite. Now when I first saw this colour combo I wasn't too sure about it! But it is actually really pretty, Bermuda Bay and Rose Red.......What do you think..... 

The stems are stamped in Old Olive, the flowers in Rose Red and Bermuda Bay and the sentiment in Bermuda Bay and punched out with the Decorative Label Punch.

I made an envelope using my Envelope Punch Board and the Brights DSP and decorated it with the Summer Silhouettes Stamp Set to match the card...

And the finished card....beautiful....

Summer Silhouettes Clean & Simple

Hey there and welcome back...

Today's card is just beautiful, it features the Stamp Set Summer Silhouettes. I love it because it is clean and simple. Whisper White on Whisper White beautiful.

The card base is Thick Whisper White and the layers are normal Whisper White.

The greeting stamped in Old Olive is from the Wetlands Stamp Set, which I love, love, love.....

 The images are stamped in Bermuda Bay and Old Olive......

And of course there has to be a matching envelope.....

Summer Silhouettes Stationery Bag

Hey there Peeps and welcome back...

I have been having a lot of fun with the Summer Silhouettes stamp set, it is fast becoming a favourite. So I made this cool stationery set....

So here is the bag, it has a pocket at the front and a pocket at the back. 

There is a Notebook with matching pen, two "just sayin' hello" cards with matching envelopes, a Post It Note Pad Holder and a Match Book Treat Holder.

The bag is really simple to make, it uses an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of Wild Wasabi Card, the pockets are layered Wild Wasabi and Whisper White Card and stamped with Wild Wasabi, Calypso Coral and So Saffron ink using the Summer Silhouettes Stamp Set.

The Note Book I made using my Bind It All Machine, I covered two pieces of stiff card with Wild Wasabi Card added a decorative front panel, cut some pages to go inside and then bound it.

 I decorated the first and last pages inside the book.

I made a co-ordinating pen by adding a piece of stamped card into the pen barrel.

 I made two "Just Sayin' Hello Cards with matching envelopes... using the stamp set Crazy About you for the sentiment.

And no stationery set would be complete without the Post It Note Holder stamped in the same colours. 

I added a little velcro dot to fasten the pad closed when not in use.

And lastly we have a little Match Book Treat Holder for the obligatory chocolate......lol..

So there we have the completed set, next time I think I will make the bag just a little longer so the envelopes can fit in horizontally.....

Summer Silhouettes meets Stitch

Hello Peeps and Welcome back..

I am so loving this set Summer Silhouettes ever since I received this as a swap from the Regional Training at Telford.

Isn't it beautiful, it was given to me by  Sue Robinson and it was just what I needed for my Stitch card...( for those who don't know what I am talking about Stitch is from Disney's Lilo & Stitch Movies and he is so adorable..)

My first thought was bright and beautiful (Old Olive, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight) and I love it but it wasn't quite what I wanted for this card, so I tried again and decided on this colour scheme... (Pacific Point, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight)..

mmmmm thats better....lol.

Stitch is an adorable little alien who has no family so he finds one on Earth in Hawaii...
There is a beautiful line in the film which goes....... 

Oh yes I am a soppy Disney fan and I adore Stitch.....lol...

And this is my attempt at recreating him in punch art and I am pretty chuffed with how he turned out....

I wanted to create the image of a Hawaiian Flower Leis, those beautiful flower garlands, and I think this stamp set is just right..

And there you have the finished card...
