Mario & Luigi Birthday Cards

Hey there and welcome back...

Today I have a couple of Super Mario cards to share, I have a Mario Birthday Card and a Luigi Birthday Card....

Aren't they cool, my son would have loved to get a card like this for his birthday, he was mad about Super Mario...lol.

The cards are basically the same except for the colours and the letter on each of their caps. For Mario I used Real Red, Blushing Bride,Pacific Point Basic Black and Whisper White.

For Luigi I used Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Blushing Bride, Pacific Point, Basic Black and Whisper White.

The Happy Birthday is from the Number of Years stamp set and the letters were cut out using the Little Letters Thinlits.

The eyes are the Extra Large Oval, the Large Oval and the small Oval, the nose is the extra Large Oval. I used the Mustache Die for their Mustaches and for the peak of the cap I used the 3rd smallest Oval from the Ovals Collection Dies.
Stampin'Up! have retired all their Oval punches in the New catalogue as they have brought out some New Layering Dies, so if you prefer the punches now is the time to get them.

Number Of Years Day 6 - Dino Fun

Hello and welcome back...

Continuing on with the Number Of Years theme this week my card for today features the No Bones About it Stamp set...so cute...

The base card for this one is Pacific Point with a layer of Whisper White on top.

The number 1 has been cut out from Bermuda Bay card using the Large number Thinlits dies and I have used my Wink of Stella Glitter pen to add some sparkle to it.

I stamped the foliage in Old Olive, stamping the first image and the stamping again without re-inking to get a lighter image. Then I stamped the Look Who's Turning in Basic Black just above the number 1.

I stamped and cut out the dinosaur plus party hat and added him to the card using dimensionals. The bottom of the card is stamped with two of the dot stamps in Crumb Cake and then I sponged lightly over them with the same colour.

Finally I stamped the Happy Birthday from the Number of Years stamp set at the bottom in Basic Black.

Number of Years Day 5 - Floral Birthday

Hello and welcome back..

I have a really fab card to share with you today, it would be great for any age but I have a 60th Birthday coming up and thought it would be perfect.

The base card is Pool Party with a layer of Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper, then there is a layer of Watermelon Wonder with a Whisper White mat on top. I stamped the leaves twice on the white mat then added some Watermelon Wonder, Blushing Bride and Pool Party flowers.

I stamped the numbers in Pool Party and cut them out using the Thinlits Dies, I added some glitter to the numbers using the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

I stamped the banner in Watermelon Wonder and then stamped Happy Birthday in Pool Party then cut it out using the Thinlits Dies I popped it on the card using dimensionals.
