Curvy Keepsake Wednesday

Hello and welcome back to another Curvy Keepsake Wednesday,

This weeks box features the beautiful Wonderland Stamp Set, you so need this set if not for those gorgeous trees then for the Antlers to make your Penguins into Rudolf the Red Nose Penguin....lol.

These would be great filled with treats on your Christmas table, or for favours at a winter wedding...

I cut out two parts for each box out of Soft Sky card, and then using versamark ink I stamped the trees on each panel of the box, (I masked off one panel whilst working on the other.) Then I sprinkled White Embossing powder over the image and heated it to set it. I did this for each panel individually.

Then once all the trees had been done I stamped snowflakes on each panel and heat embossed those with White Embossing Powder too.

I stuck each box together using Tombow Glue. Then I cut out two trees for each box out of soft sky card using the Perfect Pines Framelits Dies. I used the smallest tree die first and then I used the die which cuts out little circles on three of the trees I had cut out already to create a little tag.

I added some stitch detail to the other three trees and tied them together with White Bakers Twine and attached them to the boxes.

And there we have the finished boxes so beautiful, I love them....

I hope you like this weeks Curvy Keepsake Box, thanks for stopping by....

Snow Friends Christmas Tags

Hello and welcome back,

Today I am sharing some Christmas Gift Tags I have made using the Snow Place Stamp Set and the matching Snow Friends Framelits dies. AND a quick reminder that today is the last day to get 20% off selected stamp sets...don't miss out, to see which sets are included in the offer see my post HERE.
So back to my Christmas Tags....

Here is a little box I made to hold the tags until I need to use them, really simple to make. I used a piece of Crumb Cake Card 21 cm x 12 cm and scored it at 8cm, 10 1/2cm,18 1/2cm and 21cm along the long side. Then 2cm along the short side and assemble. This box has no lid as the ribbons from the tags stick out the top.

Then I made a belly band and decorated it with the same stamps as the tags, and added some ribbon around the top and bottom.

I made 9 tags, 7cm x 10cm, as it meant I got 9 out of a sheet of A4 with no waste.

The tags are all basically the same, meaning they all have Merry Christmas stamped in Black at the bottom of the tag, they all have a piece of Red Glimmer card across the bottom and they all have snowflakes stamped across the top. The top of the tag has been punched using the Curvy Corner Trio Punch, both for the rounded corners and the little slot for the ribbon to go through.

Then I have decorated them using the Snow Place Stamp Set, here I have teamed the small snowman with the dog from the Hey Girl Stamp set and added a silver glimmer star.

Here I have used the Penguin and added the scarf and ear muffs...so cute.

Here I used the large snowman and added a scarf and hat and coloured in his carrot nose.

Here I put two little snowmen together...

This is the back of the tag with To and From and decorated with the little snowman.

They were a lot of fun to make, they would be great to give to someone or just to use yourself, homemade tags are just so special...

Snow Place Rudolf the Red Nosed Penguin!

Hello and welcome back...

Is it a Reindeer or is it a penguin......its both ....its Rudolf the Red Nosed Penguin....lol And isn't he adorable...

I have used the Thick Whisper White Card Stock for the base card and for the mat. I put the mat through the Big Shot in the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. Then I cut a circle out of the mat using the 2 1/2" Circle Punch.

I stamped Let It Snow in Chocolate Chip ink at the bottom and put some of the 1/8" Real Red Striped Ribbon around and tied it in a bow.

I stamped and cut out the little Penguin using the matching dies and stamped the antlers from the Wonderland Stamp Set on to the base card. Then I stuck the penguin on to the card and put the mat on using dimensionals. Lastly I cut a pom pom off of the Real Red Pom Pom Trim and stuck it to his beak.

And there we have the finished card... so adorable...

I hope you like today's card, thanks for stopping by...

Snow Place Cute & Cuddly.

Hello and welcome back....

Today we are going Cute & Cuddly and if you have seen The Penguins of Madagascar you will get my drift....lol. The stamp set is called Snow Place.

And what are they doing inside...up to mischief no doubt.. The base card is Thick Whisper White, then there is a piece of normal Whisper White which has been put through the Big Shot in the Brick Wall Embossing Folder. This has been stuck to the base card using Tombow.

Next I cut out a window using the Hearth and Home Thinlits Dies and also a piece of white card to go behind it, then using the window as a template I drew the windows o the card so I knew where to stamp my penguins.

I masked each window pane off individually and stamped each penguin at a jaunty angle, then using dimensionals I stuck the window to the card with the penguins on. I used a blender pen to colour the background and their beaks. Then I stuck it to the Brick Wall.

I stamped Merry Christmas on to some Whisper White card and added some holly to each end, rounded the corners and popped it onto the card with dimensionals. A little bit of Dazzling Details to he top and bottom of the window finished it off.

Cute and Cuddly it is.....

Hope you enjoy, thanks for stopping by...

Believe

Hello and welcome back....

I really love today's card, it's just so Christmassy..... Do You Believe in the Magic of Christmas.....

Today's card is a beautiful brayered card inspired by Michelle Zindorf... The colours are Night of Navy. Island Indigo and Pool Party. The bottom of the card has been masked off with some scrap paper ripped into the shape of hills or snowdrifts what ever you want them to be really.

I sponged the moon with White Craft Ink and edged it with a white gel pen, then I stamped Santa and his reindeer  in Basic Black and added sparky magic beneath their feet with a white gel pen.

I stamped the trees from the Wonderland Stamp Set in black, using my mask to give different levels. Then I used a white gel pen to create highlights on the trees.

Lastly I stamped Believe in black on whisper White and punched it out with the word window punch, I added a second word window behind the white, punched out of Lost Lagoon card.

It's so, so pretty it makes me feel all Christmassy.....lol

Hearth and Home Christmas

Hello and welcome back...

I have been playing with the Heath and Home Thinlits Dies, inspired by some of the cards that have been appearing on Pinterest where the die has been used to cut out a double window, so creating an eight pane window. So I had a little play and came up with a six pane window, which I really liked as you can get a bit more of a scene showing than you can with the original four pane window....

I guess the secret to cutting multiple windows is when you put the die through the big shot you have part of the die outside the cutting plates so it doesn't cut the whole die out.. I think its pretty cool..

So for this card I thought "Cabin in the Snow", so I took a piece of Soft Suede card 14.4 cm x 10 cm and stamped it with the Hardwood Stamp in Soft Suede ink. Then I look a piece of Whisper White Card 9cm x 8 cm and stamped the Winter Trees from the Happy Scenes Stamp Set in Garden Green and coloured the sky with Soft Sky ink. I added some white snow and highlighted the snow on the trees with a White Gel Pen. Lastly I stamped the little dog from the Stamp Set Jingle All The Way onto the card in Basic Black.

The greeting is from the Festive Fireplace Stamp Set, as is the Black Cat on the window ledge.

To assemble I cut a hole in the Soft Suede card that had been stamped with the Hardwood stamp and stuck the scene behind it and then I attached the window to the front of the card with dimensionals, to give the illusion of depth...

Love this card, pop back tomorrow to see a variation on the theme....

Peek A Boo Halloween

Hello and welcome back...

I have another Halloween Card to share with you today, it features the stamp set Howl-O-Ween Treat, this set has a matching set of Framelits Dies called Boo To You and if you buy them together as a bundle you can save 15% off the regular price....Woo Hoo...

To make the card take a piece of A4 Crumb Cake card and cut it length ways at 10 1/2 cms. Fold the card in half and then fold the front back on itself.

The front 1/4 you put in the Woodland Embossing Folder and put through the Big Shot, then you gently brayer Soft Suede Ink over the trees and stamp the little spider hanging from a branch.

Stamp Trick or Treat in Rich Razzleberry on a piece of Whisper White Card then using the circle framelits dies choose the circle closest to the size of the sentiment and cut it out. Then cut out a circle of Pumpkin Pie to mat under it...

Stamp the owl and pumpkin on to a piece of white card and cut out using the Boo to You Framelits, at the same time cut out a Boo from Rich Razzleberry card as well. Stick the circle to the front of the card as above and the owl to the inside making sure when the card is closed that he peeks out from behind the circle.

Stick the Boo to the inside of the card as shown and add some spiders as you wish...

Finally add the pumpkin to the circle lining it up so that when the card is closed it looks like the owl is holding the pumpkin....

A Jolly Cozy Christmas

Hello and welcome back...

This has got to be one of my favourite cards ever, I just love it. The Stamp Set is Jolly Christmas and the background is a mixture of brayering and sponging.

I cut two ovals using the Ovals Collection Framelits, one in Whisper White and one in Basic Black. I brayered Soft Sky on the top half of the Whisper White Oval then tore some scrap paper in the shape of a mountain and brayered Marina Mist over to create the mountains. Then I lightly sponged some Marina mist at the bottom of the mountains to make it look misty...

The bottom half I brayered Old Olive and a little bit of Mossy Meadow. Then I stamped the stag in Basic Black.

Then I layered all the pieces, added some Basic Black Stitched Satin Ribbon and a sentiment from the Cozy Christmas Stamp Set.

Such a beautiful image I just love it....

Well I hope you like today's card, thanks for stopping by....
