Summer Sandals

Hello and welcome back...

I love making things with card, I like all that fiddly messing about and the joy of having created something 3 dimensional out of something as simple as card...why is she waffling I hear you say!!! well because today's share is another of Becky Roberts patterns... a cute pair of Summer Sandals....

Oh My Goodness aren't they just the most adorable little Summer Sandals....lol.. I had so much fun making these.. I used the English Garden DSP ( I have actually used a whole pack of this already, usually it takes me ages to use a whole pack...I must like it...lol)

The bow is the gorgeous Seam Binding Ribbon ( my all time favourite ribbon ) if you buy the Whisper White you can dye it any colour you want using the Classic Stampin' Ink Refill, just remember to let it dry thoroughly before you use it!!!!!!

And these flowers are so pretty, they are made the same way as yesterday using the Petite Petals Punch, Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and the Tree Builder Punch. With the addition of another Petite Petal in Old Olive cut to make 2 leaves and 3 leaves.

I hope you like, thanks for stopping by...

2015/2016 Diary

Hello and welcome back...

Every year I make a Diary for the next year, and as I worked in a school my year always goes from August to July....

To make my diary I usually buy a cheap diary ( this one cost me £1.75 from Tesco) then I pull it apart discard any bits I don't want, add a few lined pages for notes etc.. and then bind it with my Bind It All Machine (which I have had for years and well worth the investment). I also tend to recycle the binding combs, so you might be able to see that the comb on this one is two holes short which I did't notice until too late....lol

So I started by covering my front and back boards with the stunning English Garden DSP and if you are a regular follower of my blog you will know that blue is my favourite colour..so rather pleased with this...
TIP..You can buy board but I tend to save the card from packs of DSP and the thick card from the back of A4 note pads, if the card is a little bit thin I just double it up to make it thicker..

Another favourite of mine is the Seam Binding Ribbon, I don't know what it is but I love it and more so when its blue....lol.. Here we have Night of Navy....swoon....

I used the fabulous Scalloped Tag Topper Punch to create my label and it is the perfect size for the seam binding ribbon to thread through....a little bit of Gorgeous Grunge going on there too...

And can you see what the first thing in my new diary is.....Stampin'Up! On Stage Live in Brussels...WooHoo....I'm booked and raring to go...

I like to decorate some of the pages, just to make the diary less boring and also to highlight important events like Birthdays, Anniversaries...etc,  Here I have decorated the inside front cover with the flowers from the Stamp Set Crazy About You and added a Butterfly cut out using the Butterfly Thinlits.

I hope you like my new diary I know I will enjoy using it....

No Bones About It Covered Note Pad

Hello and welcome back...

Today is a quick project, a covered Note Pad featuring the No Bones About It Stamp Set...

I used Mossy Meadow Card Stock along with some of the English Garden DSP and I used Mossy Meadow Ink to stamp the images..

I had intended to use this piece of stamped Whisper White Card Sock to decorate the front of the note pad, but changed my mind as it took up too much if the front cover... but I really liked it so I put it on the inside cover of the Note Pad..

Squirrel Birthday Wishes

Hey there and welcome back,

Today's card features a really cute squirrel, see how made him HERE... I thought it was about time I made him into a card, he's been sat in to do box...lol

The English Garden Designer Series Paper is just perfect for the background to this card, there are 12 sheets of double sided paper with beautiful designs...

I used my Old Olive Stampin'Write Pen to do the faux stitching around the edge, I punched out a little banner using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, then cut it down to make it narrower and stamped Happy Birthday on it using the Crazy About You Stamp Set.

I added two flowers made using the Boho Blossom Punch, I cut between each petal and then embossed the petals to make them stand out and added a Candy Dot in the center.

As this card was not a standard size I made an envelope out of the English Garden DSP to match using my Envelope Punch Board.

Love it,its so cute.....

Well Thanks for stopping by....

English Garden Covered Notepads

Hello and welcome back..

I don't know about you but I really hate to waste beautiful paper, so I had some scraps left of the English Garden DSP and thought they would make very pretty note pads....

And I had to make a matching pen to go with the notepad.....

The butterfly is from the Butterflies Thinlits, which I have sponged with ink. The label is the Washi Label Punch and the Alphabet Rotary Stamp.

My paper didn't reach all the way around the back of the notepad so I had to use an extra bit, on one notepad I used the same design and on the other I flipped the paper and used the other design.

You can get notepads in all shapes and sizes so it a really simple way to use up those scraps.... and they make really pretty gifts too...

Thanks for stopping By......
