Woodland Christmas

Hello and welcome back....

Happy 1st October..... If you saw Tuesday's post then today's post is along the same theme, but instead of Halloween we are talking Christmas....

For each of these cards I created the background the same way as for the Halloween card, but instead of using a brayer to apply the versamark I just put the pad straight to the card so instead of just the trees being glittered the whole card is glittered...

I used the Scalloped Tag Topper to create the tag and stamped the beautiful sentiment from the Flurry of Wishes Stamp Set in Night of Navy on it and finished it with a bow made from Night of Navy Seam Binding Ribbon.

You can kind of get an idea just how sparkly this card is, its is just so beautiful, I love it....

Here is another, this time I used Pacific Point ink..

 It's so pretty....

I love this sentiment too...I kind of wanted to write Follow the Star, but instead I stamped some stars and added a little star in he sky...

This one I used Island Indigo ink, which is my favourite?  mmm I don't know I love them all......

Hope you enjoyed, thanks for stopping by....

Teddy Christmas Decoration

Hello and welcome back...

Today I have a really cute Teddy Bear Christmas Decoration to share with you.....

Love this cute little chap, without his Christmas hat he would fit on an A5 card (A4 folded in 1/2), he would make a lovely card but equally he would make a lovely Christmas Decoration too.. Which is probably what I will do with him.

I made his banner with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and stamped it with the sentiment from the Flurry of Wishes Stamp Set. I added some Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.

His hat is just a triangle of card with the 7/8" Scallop Circle as the pom pom and the scallop edge border punch to make the bottom of the hat.

If you would like more details about any of the projects I have made please leave a comment or e-mail me at arjay1962@sky.com and I will be happy to get back to you.

Hearth & Home meets Wonderland

Hello and welcome back....

I don't think I have been this inspired/excited about a Seasonal catalogue, but I have made 20 Christmas cards already and that is not like me at all, usually I leave it to the last minute and its all a massive rush..so I'm well pleased.... Also I have started getting into the habit of making two cards at the same time so I am building up a small stock...

Anyway on to today's card, its using the great NEW Hearth and Home Thinlits Dies, there are two matching Stamp Sets which go with them, but I chose to use the gorgeous trees from the Wonderland Stamp Set, I really love them.....

The colour combo for this card is Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizazz, Old Olive and Garden Green.

The stars on the wallpaper under the window are from the Jingle All The Way Stamp Set, stamped in Crumb Cake.

The trees have been stamped first in Pear Pizzaz, then in Old Olive and lastly in Garden Green.

To make the rail I cut extra window frames and cut along the second score mark, then turned it upside down and stuck it behind the window. I wish I had bought the Festive Fireplace Stamp Set as it has a cute little cat that could have been sat looking out of the window or the Hey Girl Stamp Set from the main catalogue which has a cute little dog which could be looking up at the window hoping for a walk in the woods...lol

So I liked this one so much I made 4, plus while you have your big shot out you might just as well cut 4 out as cut 1....

Thats all for today, thanks for stopping by....

Wonderland Merry Christmas

Hello and welcome back....

Still on the Christmas theme I had a little play with the gorgeous NEW Wonderland Stamp Set...love the tall trees....

The Merry Christmas is from the Flurry of Wishes Stamp Set which I stamped in Soft Suede on a Whisper White Banner and attached it with dimensionals.

Flurry Of Wishes & Snow Flurry Punch

Hello and welcome back...

Only 3 days to go before the NEW Autumn /Winter Catalogue goes live, have you got yours yet...don't worry if you haven't, you will be able to look at it on-line on the 1st September 2015. But if you prefer a to browse through a paper copy please let me know and I will get one to you.

This card is a CASE of the one in the catalogue, although I did two versions...

I stamped the Snowflake in Pool Party and Smoky Slate and then punched them out using the matching punch. The border at the side is from the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set, stamped in Smokey Slate. Some of the snowflakes are then glued flat and some are on dimensionals. Then I added some gems to give a little sparkle...

I decorated the envelopes with the two smaller snowflakes using Pool Party ink.

For this card I kept with just Pool Party and stamped some images directly onto the card and others have been stamped, punched out and added to the card using dimensionals.

Buying the Stamp Set and Punch as a Bundle will save you 15% off the regular price...
If you love Poinsettias pop back tomorrow for another catalogue sneaky peak, you will love it..
