HAPPY EASTER

Hello and a Happy Easter to you...

Today is the last day of making Easter Goodies and cards so I have used my favourite stamp for the last card of the week.

This little bird has been my favourite since it was released for Sale-A-Bration and I am so going to miss it when Sale-A-Bration finishes on the 31st March.

The base card is Basic Grey and I have used one of the designs from the Have A Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack underneath the piece of Whisper White card.

I stamped the bird in Basic Black on to Whisper White then I brayered over the bird with Crushed Curry ink, then I sponged around the edges with more Crushed Curry ink and used my blender pen to take away some of the ink. I coloured its feet and beak with a Pumpkin Pie marker and added a tiny speck of white to the eyes with a White Gel Pen.

I stamped Happy Easter in Basic Grey and wound some Basic Grey Thick Bakers Twine around the card ending with a bow.

Birthday Bouquet Day 6 Cute Notepads

Hello and welcome back..

I am not very good at using up my Designer Series Paper (although I am getting better) so when it retires I usually end up with lots that as a Demonstrator I can't really use. So I am always looking for ways to use it up and one of the ways I have found is to make notebooks, I love making notebooks and pads of all shapes and sizes, one of my favourite pieces of equipment is my Zutter Bind-It-All. But today's little notepads are so easy.....

These little notepads are 3 1/4" x 4" and I purchased them from Wilkinsons for 18p each...awesome.

For each one I cut a piece of DSP to size and stuck it to the front using a Stampin'Up Glue Stick. For this one I used my Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush to add a shimmer to all of the balloons. Then I made a little banner and stamped the sentiment. I used  a Mint Macaron and a Pool Party marker to colour the stamp. Then I used the balloon stamp from Honeycomb Happiness to make a balloon which I then stuck to the front.

For this one I used the cute ice cream cones, I stamped the sentiment in Watermelon Wonder, Blushing Bride and Soft Suede, then I stamped and cut out the cone from the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set and added it to the front.

For these two I used the floral patterns from the pack.

For this one I added a little banner with my name on and a Botanical Garden Jewel Embellishment. I made some matching pens to with them but forgot to photograph them...DOH!!  These would make great little gifts for pretty well anyone, I mean who doesn't love a cute notepad!!!

Curvy Keepsake Wednesday - Birthday Bouquet

Hello and welcome back to another Curvy Keepsake Wednesday...

This weeks Curvy Keepsake Box has been made with the gorgeous Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper with a little bit of Honeycomb Happiness thrown in.....

This paper is just so pretty, it makes beautiful boxes, here I have used the one which looks a bit like confetti for the boxes.

I cut out the pieces using the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Die and assembled the boxes.

Then I made some tags by cutting some Mint Macaron card and some of the DSP and by using the Curvy Corner Trio Punch I have made a really cute shaped tag. I stamped and coloured in the Ice Cream Cone from the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set and added it to the tag with dimensionals.

Then I used White Bakers Twine to attach them to the boxes.
