Penguin 21st Birthday Card

Hello and welcome back.

I made today's card for a colleagues 21st birthday and she as loves penguins so it just had to be penguins. This is a really derpy looking penguin, but it's such a fun little penguin, this has got to be one of my favourites.

The base card is Smoky Slate, with a layer of Whisper White card on top. The Whisper White card has been put through the Big Shot in the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. So pretty...

I made two banners for the sentiment and stamped Happy on one in Smoky Slate ink and Birthday on the other, the sentiment is from the set Big On Birthdays, its photopolymer so I cut the Happy Birthday stamp to separate the Happy and the Birthday... I love that you can do this with this type of stamp...

The Penguin is a template I made from a picture I had seen, the bow is made using the Bow Builder Punch (in the main catalogue) this makes such cute little bows and the heart is also a Stampin'Up punch.

I made the balloon using the 2 1/2" Circle punch and added a little hand cut frill to it. I then covered it with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter, it gives it such a shimmery look to the balloon. I cut out the 21 using the Large Number Framelits, these and the matching Large Letter Framelits are my New Best Friends......
I love how this came out and luckily so did the recipient....

Christmas Bag & Tag

Hey there & welcome back...

So yesterday I showed you some Fun Felt Robins that I made and it kind of gave me the idea for a cute little tag to go on a Christmas bag.....

Isn't it cute... So the gift bag is made using the Gift Bag Punch Board, so is super easy. This one uses a 12" x 12" piece of Merry Moments Designer Series Paper. You can make  a Small, Medium or Large gift bag, you cut your paper to size and just follow the instructions on the board...so, so easy.

This is the large bag.  The little Punch Art Robin is made using all Stampin'Up! Punches. The body is the 2 1/2" Circle Punch, the eyes are the 3/4", 1/2" and 1/4" Circle punches. The beak is just a triangle and the red tummy is the 2 1/2" Circle cut down. The feet and wings are the Flower Punch cut down.

After I had stuck his tummy, Beak and eyes on, I then attached his feet and wings to the back and I cut an extra 2 1/2" Choc Chip Circle to stick to the back to hide where I had attached them.

Hope you like my cute little robin, thanks for stopping by....

Marvellous Minions

Hello and welcome back....

Well you either love them or you hate them!!!! I'm talking Minions and I have to say that I love them.... I went to see them at the cinema and I was not disappointed. The rest of my family not so easily swayed by these cute little yellow critters....but you can't please everyone......lol
So I thought I would make some small cards, these are 10 1/2 cm square....and I think they are soooo cute...

This is Tom.
I cut a template for the body and the dungarees, and used Stampin'Up! punches for the rest.

This is Phil.
For the hair I cut small pieces of black card and stuck them to the back of his head. For his mouth I cut a large circle and then trimmed a bit off.

This is Jerry.
For the eyes I used 1/2", 1/4" and 1/8" circle punches.

This is Dave.
For the motif on his dungarees I cut a circle, then a square and finally a circle..

This is Stuart.
For his eye I used the 1", 3/4" and 1/8" circle punches. Th mouth is a tiny portion of a 1/4" circle..

This is Kevin.
He was the easiest as you can't see his dungarees or his arms as he is quite tall for a Minion....

And here they are all together, I also made matching envelopes and a little bag to keep them in....I love them I think they are really fun...

I hope you like my Minions cards, thanks for stopping by...
