This is a card I made for a collegue who was leaving at the end of term, her favourite colour is orange and she loves flowers so this is what I created. The flowers are made using Stampin'Up! punches, the ornament punch, the scallop circle punches, the flower punch and other Stampin'Up punches.

The ribbon is retired Stampin'Up! but it was just the right colour and size, as the card is 12"x12".

Convention Swaps

This is what I made for my swaps for this years Stampin'Up! Convention.....
I made 100 swaps and although they were not difficult they were a lot of work so ended up taking me several weekends to complete...good job I started them in good time.....

I changed my mind about the penguin (although I love him) I wanted a bit of sparkle so I punched out the large flower from the boho blossom punch from silver glimmer card for the center, however silly me I forgot to take a picture of the revised card and I didn't have any swaps left......doh!!!!

Convention 2013

Helloooo

Well Convention 2013 promised to be the best yet and it didn't disapoint, it was Stampin'Up!'s 25th year in America and 5th year in Europe, so there was lots to celebrate.

The main stage area was huge and this year there were no tables we sat in rows, because there were so many of us!



There were lots of display boards full of amazing cards and projects.......

 

This is just a tiny selection of what was there, along side these was an area set up for My Digital Studio (MDS) with laptop for you to have a play with the program and experts on hand to help with any questions or queries you might have.

Plus there were training sessions you could attend on business training, MDS, creative training, all sorts.....

In addition there was another huge room with tables where you could do your make n takes, eat lunch, try out different tools, view the momento mall merchandise and do the service project.

Gift Boxes

Appologies for my lack of posts, I have been really busy and have taken lots of photos but just have not had the time to upload onto my blog.........
Here are some Gift boxes I have made using the new Stampin'Up! envelope board, I have added a handmade broach as an embellishment. (sadly the bottletops are no longer available from Stampin'Up!) sigh.....can't say whats inside as that would spoil the surprise for the recipients...lol

 The next gift box is actually quite a nice size, I made this for my upline Michelle for Convention 2013, it contained something she liked from America a particular kind of sweet you can't get over here.

These boxes were so easy to make, in fact the most difficult part of this one was the snowflake embellishment.......lol
