Bear Hugs Valentine Card

Hello and Welcome back....

Today is the last day with the Bear Hugs Bundle and I am finishing the week with a cute little Valentine Card, although it doesn't have to be a Valentine it could just as well be a Birthday Card...

The base card is Real Red and I have put a layer of Crumb Cake card which I have put through the Big Shot in the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.

I created a triple window using the Hearth and Home Thinlits Dies, then I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card to go behind the window and stamped the large bear in Soft Suede ink. Then I stamped and cut out the Heart and bow from the Bear Hugs set from Real Red card and stuck it to the bear.

I created some little Real Red flowers for the window box using the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and the tiny flower from the Tree Builder Punch.

Last I made a little banner to go on the bottom of the card with the sentiment stamped in Basic Black.

I hope you have enjoyed this week of Bear Hugs, pop back tomorrow for something new....

I Love You This Much

Hello and welcome back...

Today's card is such a sweet little Valentines card, I made the small bear into a little Panda so cute...

I have used Watermelon Wonder for the base card and added a layer of Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper.

For the little Heart shaped Balloons I used the heart stamp from the Bear Hugs Stamp Set and stamped it in Basic Black onto Watermelon Wonder, Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry card and cut them out using the matching framelits.

I stamped the small bear in Basic Black on Whisper White and cut it out using the matching framelits, then I added a little detail to make it look like a panda. I added him to the using dimensionals, then I arranged the balloons and drew strings from the balloons to the panda.

I added some crushed curry ribbon ( White cotton ribbon dyed with crushed curry ink) and finished by stamping the sentiment in the corner.

I added some Wink of Stella to the balloons for a little bit of bling...

Hope you like today's card, thanks for stopping by.....

Hello Birthday Girl

Hello and welcome back....

I am still using the Bear Hugs Bundle but today I have teamed it with one of the FREE stamp set you can get from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure (with a spend of £45 or more).

The Stamp Set is called Hello, it has the large hello and then you can team it with Birthday Girl, Birthday Boy, Friend or Little Sunshine which are really cute. I used Hello Birthday Girl and stamped it in Blushing Bride.

Then I stamped, coloured and cut out the large bear and put him so he looks like he is popping out from behind the card.

I popped the front onto a piece of Whisper White and added the little party hat which I had added some sparkle to using the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. The base card is Crumb Cake to which I added another layer of Crumb Cake on dimensionals and then added a layer of Blushing Bride Designer Series Paper. I added the front two layers on dimensionals and finished of by adding some sparkle to the DSP using the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

You can't see from the photos but he DSP is so pretty with the sparkle of glitter.

I have listed all the products below that I used to make this card, just click on a product to go to my on-line store to order.

Bear Hugs Card in a Box

Hello and welcome back...

Today I have a Bear Hugs Card in a Box to share with you. I really like doing these they are such fun to create.

This Card in a Box is a little taller than the ones I made at Christmas, for it you will need a piece of card 5" x 12" and scored at 2", 5 1/2", 7 1/2" and 11" (on the long side) and score at 2 1/2" on the short side. For the dividers you will need two pieces of card 2" x 4 11/16", scored at 5/8" each end.
For instructions check out previous  Card in a Box posts.

For the front panel I used Whisper White card and stamped the sentiment from the stamp set in the middle, I used some of the fish that I had cut out, coloured and glittered to decorate it.

For the side panels I used more fish mounted on some Whisper White card I had brayered with Soft Sky ink. I also created ripples with a silver pen.

For the background I put a piece of Whisper White card through he Big Shot in the Woodland embossing folder, then I brayered over the raised trees with Chocolate Chip ink and stuck it to the back panel with Tombow glue.

Then I added the bears, Daddy to the back panel, Mummy to the back divider, one of the little bears to the next divider and finally the last bear to the front. I also added some foliage around the bears and made little banners for the large bears to hold. The sentiment is from the Number of Years stamp set

On the back I made a decorated panel to write the message on, I punched the corners with the curvy Corner Trio Punch.

Mmmm I hope you like fish for your birthday.....lol

Curvy Keepsake Wednesday

Hello and welcome back to another Curvy Keepsake Wednesday.....

This weeks box is in keeping with the Bears theme, its the Three Bears Cottage, no sign of Goldilocks though...

So here we have Mummy Bear, Daddy Bear and Baby Bear, Daddy Bear has been out fishing and has caught a fish each for tea..... yum yum....

To make the house I cut out two pieces of Curvy Keepsake Box, then I put the part with the handle through the Big Shot in the Brick Wall Embossing folder and I put the part with the slot through in the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. I masked off the woodgrain and brayered the bricks with Real Red Ink, then I masked off the Bricks and Brayered the woodgrain with Chocolate Chip ink.

Then I assembled the box, leaving it flat I then decorated the front and back. For the front I used the small and large oval punches to create a door, then I added some foliage using the Bird Builder Punch and to that I added some tiny flowers from the Tree Builder Punch in Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride and Calypso Coral.

To the back I created a little window and did the same with the foliage and flowers, each flower has a tiny spot of glitter in the middle.

I stamped and coloured the three bears and added accessories to Mummy Bear. I stamped both sides of the large bears so that when Mummy is holding Baby Bear the arms are coloured both sides.

Daddy Bears fishing pole is a cocktail stick with a piece of Bakers Twine attached and three fish stuck to the line.

I hope you like this weeks Curvy Keepsake box, all the products used are listed below, if you need anything to recreate this box then just go to my on-line store or send me an e-mail.

Bear Hugs Panda Card

Hello and welcome back....

Today's card is rather cute, especially as it features Pandas, my favourite...lol.

The base card is Basic Black with a layer of Whisper White and then a layer of Blushing Bride Designer Series Paper (DSP).

I stamped the large  and small bears in Basic Black on to Whisper White and coloured in areas with my blender pen and black ink to create a Panda. I stamped the skirt and some flowers in Basic Black and then coloured them in with my Stampin' Write Markers.

I made a little banner out of some Whisper White card and stamped the sentiment in it. I added a Vintage Faceted Designer Button with some Bakers Twine I had coloured with a Blushing Bride Marker and popped it on with a glue dot. I also wrapped some Blushing Bride Ribbon around the card and made a bow.

I love this really cute Panda Card...

Bear Hugs Diorama

Hello and welcome back....

This week I am going to share projects made using the Fabby Bear Hugs Bundle. You get the Bear Hugs Stamp Set and the Bear Hugs Framelits, saving 15% off the regular price, details after the post.
So on to today's project which is a Bear Hugs Diorama....

How cute is this...

These look complicated but are very easy to make. To create the box you will need:
2 pieces of card 4 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 2" both ends of the 8 1/2" length.
1 piece 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" scored at 1" both ends of the 6 1/2" length.
Additional scraps for the bears and accessories.

I used the Lovely As A Tree stamp set for the background, and stamped the box pieces with the Hardwood stamp before cutting out the ovals and assembling.

I used Oval no. 5 from the Ovals Collection Framelits (smallest is no. 1) to cut out the aperture in one of the large box pieces and the smaller box piece.

Then I assembled the box by putting the smaller box part into the large piece with no oval cut out (the back piece) and then put the second large piece over the top.

I then decorated all the bears and accessories, I put Daddy Bear at the back on dimensionals, Mummy Bear went in the middle with some flowers and the two little bears went on the front with dimensionals and some flowers.

On the back I put a piece of decorated Whisper White card for the message to be written on.

And here's the finished project, a really cute and unusual card to give someone for their birthday, I forgot to say that it folds down flat to go in an envelope to be posted.

Blossom Birthday

Hello and welcome back....

And bringing the Rose Wonder week to a close, I have a pretty blossom card to share with you.

The base card is Real Red with a layer of Whisper White on top, I used the Curvy Corner Trio Punch to shape two of the corners.

I stamped the sentiment from the set And Many More in Real Red.

The flowers are made up from the small bloom from the Rose Garden Thinlits, the small flower from the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies and the flower from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

I went over the leaves and the flowers with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to give a fine shimmer of glitter all over.

I hope you have enjoyed this weeks projects using the Rose Garden Bundle and have been inspired to create your own beautiful cards.

Rose Birthday Card

Hello and welcome back...

Today's card is kind of a spin off from yesterday's card, as its using some of the parts I didn't use.. waste not as we crafters say.....

So this is the Watermelon Wonder rose I cut out, I used in inner bits for yesterday's card which left me this bit. So I stuck it onto some Blushing Bride Card and cut round it.

I did the same for the leaves, sticking them onto Pear Pizzazz and cutting them out.

I used the Curvy Trio Punch to shape the two corners, and stamped random dots on the background.

I used dimensionals to stick the rose to the card and added the leave with Tombow. I used the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add some sparkle all over the rose, and finally I added a few tiny gems here and there.

I have listed all the products used below for easy ordering.
