Crazy About You Flower Card

Hey there and welcome back...

Today's cards feature the flowers from the awesome Stamp Set Crazy About You, this Stamp Set has 30 sentiments, 2 flowers and a leaf Stamp.....and is only £23...Bargain...

My colour scheme is Bermuda Bay and Pool Party with some Cucumber Crush...

The large flower is great for layering, here I have stamped the flower four times, twice in Bermuda Bay and twice in Pool Party, then I have cut them down and layered them using dimensionals..

This flower I cut between each petal and then embossed them to give them shape and layered one Bermuda Bay flower with one Pool Party flower..

I also gave the leaves a little bit of dimension too...

And I cut out a butterfly using the Bold Butterfly Framelits and then daubed it with the same colours..

The sentiment is from the Wetlands Stamp Set, stamped in Bermuda Bay..

Lastly I added a pearl to the center of each flower...

And here are the finished cards...Beautiful....

I hope you like today's cards thanks for stopping by...

Sheltering Tree and World of Dreams

Hey there, welcome back..

Today's card features not one but two gorgeous Stamp Sets, Sheltering Tree and World of Dreams..

I love these stamp sets, the images are just so beautiful..

The little birds on the branch are from World of Dreams, I used my Stampin' Write Markers to colour the stamp and then hand drew detail on the nest to give it more dimension.
The flowers are punched using the flower from the Itty Bitty Punch Set out of Pink Pirouette Card Stock. In the middle a tiny pearl.

The piece of Crumb Cake Card Stock has been stamped with the Hardwood Stamp in Chocolate Chip ink....

This beautiful tree is from the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set and can be a tree for all seasons, here it is a Spring Tree, the leaves are just starting to come out. I love the stamp which does the grass it can be used for so many things...

A really cute card for so many occasions just change the sentiment...

So I hope you like thanks for stopping by..

No Bones About It Covered Note Pad

Hello and welcome back...

Today is a quick project, a covered Note Pad featuring the No Bones About It Stamp Set...

I used Mossy Meadow Card Stock along with some of the English Garden DSP and I used Mossy Meadow Ink to stamp the images..

I had intended to use this piece of stamped Whisper White Card Sock to decorate the front of the note pad, but changed my mind as it took up too much if the front cover... but I really liked it so I put it on the inside cover of the Note Pad..

I love this cute little Party Hat, it makes such a fun card...

No Bones About It Birthday Set

Hello and welcome back....

I am away at the moment staying with my bestie for a few days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday we were in Cardiff so I had no internet so unable to do any posts. I am at my friends house until Thursday so will try and do some posts.....

I have been having a play with this new set called No Bones About It and have to say I love it... I saw similar cards on pinterest and really liked them, so I thought I would do a set of four cards with matching envelopes and a little box bag to hold them in..

Here is the box bag which is literally a box with handles making it a bag....

I only wanted it to hold four cards and four envelopes so made it 6 1/2" x 4 3/4" and 1" wide which is the perfect size....

Here is the first dinosaur, I love that you can use the solid dinosaur, the skeleton or both together, its so cool...

The Ink colours are Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip and Real Red, with Whisper White Thick Cardstock and Mossy Meadow, Old Olive and Whisper White card stock.

I made matching envelopes for each card.....

Here is the finished project......

Marvellous Minions

Hello and welcome back....

Well you either love them or you hate them!!!! I'm talking Minions and I have to say that I love them.... I went to see them at the cinema and I was not disappointed. The rest of my family not so easily swayed by these cute little yellow critters....but you can't please everyone......lol
So I thought I would make some small cards, these are 10 1/2 cm square....and I think they are soooo cute...

This is Tom.
I cut a template for the body and the dungarees, and used Stampin'Up! punches for the rest.

This is Phil.
For the hair I cut small pieces of black card and stuck them to the back of his head. For his mouth I cut a large circle and then trimmed a bit off.

This is Jerry.
For the eyes I used 1/2", 1/4" and 1/8" circle punches.

This is Dave.
For the motif on his dungarees I cut a circle, then a square and finally a circle..

This is Stuart.
For his eye I used the 1", 3/4" and 1/8" circle punches. Th mouth is a tiny portion of a 1/4" circle..

This is Kevin.
He was the easiest as you can't see his dungarees or his arms as he is quite tall for a Minion....

And here they are all together, I also made matching envelopes and a little bag to keep them in....I love them I think they are really fun...

I hope you like my Minions cards, thanks for stopping by...

Cute Kitties

Hello and welcome back...

I have finally finished the picture I have been working on... I was torn between making cards and doing a picture...well I guess we know which one won....lol

I loved making these little Kitties and I wanted to do something different with them other than cards..I guess something a little more permanent...

The backing sheet is from the Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper...

And what cat doesn't love toys, so I made a cute little toy mouse for them to play with....

And a little hanging toy with some balls and bells...

And a little den for them to sleep in complete with blanket....

I think they look pretty content....lol

Well I am really pleased with the finished picture and pretty chuffed to find a 12" x 12" deep frame to put it in....

Hope you like today's project,
