Frozen Punch Art

Hey there and welcome back,

Well I hope you had a great weekend, I am back from visiting my best friend...we had a fab time as always. Before I moved to Wales I helped run a Brownie group with my Bestie, they are off on Pack Holiday in May and they have chosen as their theme 'Frozen'. So my friends daughter decided that we would do some punch art.......only we couldn't find any for Elsa and Anna.

Well eventually we stumbled upon an american site called http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/ they sell templates of all sorts of things including 'Frozen' characters so although its not what I would call proper Punch Art they are so cute we decided to give it a go..

They could do with a bit of sponging to give a bit of definition, but we were quite pleased with the outcome. They took a lot of cutting out but I think worth it....

So there you have it Elsa and Anna, now all I have to do is make Olaf....
Well I hope you liked, Thanks for stopping by...

A Pride of Lions Punch Art

Hello and welcome back..

Today I have A Pride of Lions to share with you...lol

I have made these many times before but with all the retired punches and dies I thought it time to change it. If you have the old punches then you can still make the old version though...

So here he is....

And this is how to make him....

You will notice that these lions are slightly different, the one on the left uses the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle punch for the lions mane and the one to the right uses the 2 1/4" x 1 3/8" Oval punch for the body. I must say I really like the Flower Fair Die for his mane I think it makes him look a little wild...lol

Here are my original Pride of Lions, unfortunately two of the punches are no longer available. The original colour was Cajun Craze but I didn't have any so I used More Mustard instead, although I think I prefer Cajun Craze....

Here I made a little gift box.....

Well I hope you liked my Pride of Lions, this post was a little rushed as I am off to visit my Bestie for a long weekend and won't be back till Monday...
So Thanks for stopping by....

Motorbike Birthday Card

Hey there...

Welcome back, today I have a card I made for my Husbands Birthday.... I kinda made this in a bit of a hurry, I didn't forget his Birthday, BUT I did forget to make him a card....ooops. So the night before I had to put this together and then our guests who where staying with us for a week arrived and I had to abandon it...until early next morning I nipped downstairs while everyone was still in bed and finished it....

I used Baked Brown Sugar and Coastal Cabana Card stock, I stamped using Baked Brown Sugar stamp pad and I added some Linen Thread around the middle.

I made a few little errors like the N is the wrong way up....lol. But Hubby didn't notice so hey ho.
I didn't think it was too bad considering I made it in a rush and didn't use a Stamp-a-ma-jig!!!

I wasn't too displeased with the result and Hubby was thrilled.
Hope you liked, Thanks for stopping by....

Punch Art Duck & Chick

Hey there and welcome back,

Today I am going to show you how to make the Duck and Chick I used in my Easter Treats using Stampin'Up! Punches...

This little chap has been made the same way as the one above but instead of using the ornament punch (now retired) I used the large oval punch and I have to say he still looks pretty cute. A great thing about Punch Art is that you can substitute different punches and achieve a slightly different look. I also swapped out the medium BoHo Blossoms flower for the large one for his little tuft on his head cos I liked the look.

This little cutie has been made using the Owl Builder Punch, not only does it make great owls but so so much more.
Check back tomorrow for some really cute Penguins.

Thanks for stopping by....

Easter Boxes

Hellooooo and welcome back for more Easter treats....

These cute little boxes use the Scallop Tag Topper (133324) and a few punches lol....

I love how you can change where and how you place the elements and get a totally different look..

I also added some cute little pom pom tails, totally optional, but I just loved how they looked and I'm sure both children and adults alike would love them too..

They are just the right size for a large MaltEaster Bunny...yummy..

And last but not least a quick Easter Treat using the long cellophane bags (124134) and a little bit of Punch Art.

I used the 1 3/4" Scallop circle (119854) and the 1 3/8" circle punch for the base, if you want to know how to make the chick check back tomorrow for another Punch Art post..

Well I hope you liked my Easter Treats, thanks for stopping by...

Easter Baskets

Hey there, welcome back to part 3 of my Easter Treats.
This is a project that I really love doing, I have had the template for this basket for a while and I have used it for numerous occasions from Christmas to Weddings and Birthdays, its so versatile its brilliant.
This is one of the Easter Baskets that I made....

It makes such a beautiful gift box.

I love this cute Punch Art duck, I will post the pattern to follow tomorrow..

And its the perfect size to hold a large Easter Egg.....mmmm...mmmmm..
That beautiful flower on the top was made using the Ornament Punch, sadly retired, but if you have it..lucky you....it may be found on the secondary market like ebay!!

Here is a close up of that cute little duck made using Stampin'Up punches.

My second basket also holds a large Easter Egg, plus a few creme eggs....yum yum...

A close up of another little rabbit, again slightly different to the others.

Here is the template for the Basket above, it doesn't have to be just for Easter I have made them for Birthdays, Christenings, Christmas and even Thank you's.
