May's Card Class

Helloooo

These are the cards we made in May's card class....

We used Riding Hood Red card stock (as its retiring) and the beautiful Sunflower stamp.

The small butterfly is from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set, stamped onto glossy card and punched out using the matching punch, with some small pearls down its body.

We used the dotted scallop ribbon border punch to create the edging under the sunflower glossy card and the sentiment from the Bitty Banner set.
The second card also in Riding hood Red and the same stamp sets but different stamps.

This time we used a different border punch to create the edging and the large scallop circle to create the flower.

The third card is using the gorgeous Swallowtail stamp set, the cardstock is tempting turquoise and elegant eggplant.

The butterfly is stamped in Sahara sand and then using Stampin'Up markers you add colour by wacking the brush end on the stamp randomly which gives this fabulous effect.

We added a sentiment from the Bitty Banners set and tied it on using Linen Tread.

And there we have it, three gorgeous cards if I do say so..lol..
Thanks for stopping by...

Swaps for Telford Training.

Helloooo,

These are the swaps I made for the Stampin'Up! Training day in Telford. I am really loving the Swallowtail stamp, its big, its beautiful and I love it.....

I teamed it with one of my fave colours, Island Indigo, just gorgeous....

The sentiment is from Bitty Banners, I coloured whisper white bakers twine with Island Indigo reinker and threaded it through the holes in the banner.

I spritzed the whole card using the colour spritzer tool and Island Indigo Stampin'Write marker and then I spritzed it again using the smooch spray to give it a sparkle.

I made these the same way but using up the excess left over from making the cards and punched a hole in the top for some ribbon to make a bookmark.

I made these bag charms using the Swallowtail stamp and shrink plastic, I added a small butterfly from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set also in shrink plastic. I created a tag with Stampin'Up! on and another with the recipients name on.

Aprils Card Class

Hellooooo....

Im a bit late posting these, mostly because I kept forgetting to photograph them...lol..
We made some male orientated cards using some gorgeous stampsets from Stampin'Up! The first was the now retired Plane & Simple.

We used Night of Navy and Naturals White cardstock, plus Night of Navy Ink. The sentiment is from the Curly Cute Stampset. We also spritzed the card using the Night of Navy stampin' Write marker and the colour spritzer tool. Then finished it off with a jumbo eyelet.
The second card we made used the By the Tide Stampset, gorgeous.....

The crab is actually from By the Seashore Stampset but I wanted something a bit more manly to fill the gaps....

On this one we used the seahorse which I think looks OK for a mans card...

The last card was stamped using the Zoo Review Stampset, I love the detail on these stamps...

For this card we stamped across three layers then matted them and put dimentionals under to raise them, it looked really good...
All cards were made with Stampin'Up! Naturals White cardstock and Stampin'Up! inks and accessories.
