Beautiful Bracelets

Helloooo

I have been busy, unfortunatly I can't show any of it until April 1st as its using NEW product from the new mini.  I can't wait there is so much fab new stuff, I have already leaked a little taster on a previous post. Naughty naughty..........

So I am going to share this with you..

How gorgeous are those buttons, they are Stampin'Up! buttons these are from the brights collection and don't they make a fab bracelet.
I bought loads of buttons as I had seen bracelets on the net made using buttons, but not this style using a chain link.  I saw this one on Monica Gales site and she was selling the kits to make them. Now I don't usually buy other peoples kits but I sooo loved this bracelet I just had to.
There is a link to Monica's site to the right if you want to check them out.

Hope you you like them, Thanks for stopping by.......

New Craft

Hellooo

Some friends taught me how to knit a few weeks ago at the handicraft group I go to on a Monday afternoon. Most of the ladies are accomplished knitters and can happily chat and knit ten to the dozen. I don't think I will ever be like that. But I was a bit chuffed to completed my first project which was a childs jumper using a very simple pattern. The ladies knit them for charity and so they decided I should knit one!!!!
This is how it turned out......

The back is plain blue but the front has white stripes, I was really pleased with it, yes I know its really simple but you have to start somewhere.....
Anyhoo thanks for stopping by......

ATC

Hellooo

Its ATC time again and the subject for March was "Material" which meant that the whole ATC had to be made from material no card, no paper, no funky foam. Well it was a bit of a dialema for me, I just didn't know where to start.
Well this is what I came up with.....

For the main card I used Night of Navy felt (well it was a good colour match!!!) then I used a 2" twill ribbon which I cut into 3" chunks and frayed the edges.  I then stamped one of the images from the Just Believe stamp set and the butterfly from the So Happy For You stamp set. I then sewed Stampin Up buttons on and ruched some ribbon and sewed it to the bottom. (Check back on April 1st for details of the ribbon hint hint). And voila.... they didn't turn out too bad.
Hope you like them, thanks for stopping by.....

March Card Class

Hellooo,

Had a lovely card making class this afternoon, we made three cards....

The first was inspired by a swap I received on Sunday at Michelle's Stamp With Me Reward Day, it was by a fellow P'ink Lady Claire Deacon. I just loved the colour combo Crumb Cake, Marina Mist and Very Vanilla
This is what we made, basically the same recipe, but instead of stamping the stripes on the bottom half we used crumb cake dsp from the neutrals stack and instead of the circle being stamped with dots we spritzed it with frosty white shimmer paint to give it some sparkle.
We also stamped birthday wishes from the So Happy For You SAB set.
Really pretty, thanks for the inspiration Claire.

The second card used Pacific Point, Soft Suede and Naturals Ivory cardstock (Sorry about the photos they are a bit rubbish). The pacific point cardstock was stamped with Le Francais stamp and then the swirl from the baroque motifs set.
The Soft Suede dsp was stamped with the flowers from the level 1 hostess set Punch Potpourri.
We used the tiny pearls for the birds eye and the center of the flowers, they are so gorgeous, I need to order more......I am using them so much.

The third card uses the stampset Just Believe and the butterfly and sentiment from the So Happy For You stampset. The cardstock is Pear Pizzazz and Poppy Parade, the little flowers are from the Boho Blossom Punch.

And of course more of those gorgeous pearls.
Well I hope you like them, thanks for stopping by....

Stamp With Me Reward Day

Helloooo

I have had such a great day today, I went to Bicester with some fellow demo's to Michelle Lasts Stamp With Me Reward Day. A reward for recruiting during November.
We did a fab make and take and Michelle demo'd how to make some gorgeous flowers.

How gorgeous is this, I love the colour combo Soft Suede, Baja Breeze and Very Vanilla Cardstock, plus Elegant Soiree Designer Papers. Just lovely....
And just look at those flowers, the stamp is inked up with with Baja Breeze and then using the rocking technique the edge is inked up with Soft Suede, we cut out the flowers leaving a tiny border around the edge.
Then using crystal effects filled in the flower, added a touch of glitter and some gorgeous pearls and voila beautiful flowers. When dry you just curl the petals to give some dimention.
The leaves were made using Soft Suede cardstock folded in half then put through the crimper at an angle then you cut out half a leaf on the fold, when unfolded you have a whole leaf with veins... Brilliant...

The large flower on the cover used the Flower Accent stamp and the small flowers were from the Cottage Garden stamp set.

These were the swaps I made unfortunatly I forgot to take a photo of them so these are all I had left. They are bookmarks made with Stampin'Ups 1/8th" Taffeta Ribbon. The ones in the picture are Night of Navy, Early Espresso and Marina Mist, I also did them in Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Real Red, I made 16 in all. Together they looked really gorgeous.  It did give me an idea to make tiny ones and put on a keyring to show off the ribbon. mmmm watch this space......

This ribbon is sooo pretty and it is so easy to weave. Anyhoo thanks for stopping by.....

I was so pleased with how it turned out, I think it looks great, now I need to find some photos to put in it to finish it off...
