Hellooo

Sorry for my lack of posts, we had my Mum's funeral on Friday and I have not felt like crafting at all.  I did start some Christmas cards and have managed to finish them.

I used Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla cardstock, the stampset is Contempo Christmas stamped in Cherry Cobbler Ink. I daubed around the edge of the top piece of very vanilla with cherry cobbler ink then I mounted onto another piece of very vanilla which I punched around the edge with the scallop corner and scallop edge punches. Last I mounted this onto a Cherry Cobbler card 9.5 x 9.5cm.

With this one I cut out the tree and used foam pads to lift it. The card under the very vanilla piece is crumb cake, everything else is the same.
Hope you like them, thanks for stopping by....

December ATC

Hellooo

This months ATC is all about Christmas, I thought yippee I have lots of christmas stampsets, but then it was hard to decide which one to use. I was inspired by a card I had seen using the large tree from Lovely as a Tree stampset to make the branches of a christmas tree, it is really effective, I love it.  I must admit I have used it on some of my christmas cards.  I also used a retired set called 'Hung Up on the Holidays'...it has the cutest little gingerbread man which I stamped out onto shrink plastic using soft suede ink. I then cut them out and punched a tiny hole which I threaded thin wire through. Then I shrank them and using the wire hung them on the christmas tree branches.

I did the same with the two baubles in the same set, to make more decorations for the tree and of course you have to add a bit of glitter don't you......
TaDa....
I hope you like them, back with more craft soon....

Christmas

Hellooo,

I have managed to put our Christmas Tree up, got to keep the children happy...  I do love my tree but it does take a bit of putting up.

Every year I buy at least one new decoration for the tree, although this year its a bit different and I haven't bought any.......yet.  I love looking around garden centres this time of year they always have such spectacular displays.

As you can see I like owls, bears and I like personalised ornaments for my children, J for Joshua, K is for Kate, the little snowglobes also have their names on too. And as you now know I love cute.........

Well thanks for stopping by, I will be back with this months ATC ...See you soon.

Hellooo

So sorry for my absence, my lack of posts is down to the fact I lost my Mum and have been finding it hard to get things done.. I have been trying to get in the christmas spirit with no luck, even the snow which I would normally love has not lifted my spirits. I have done a little bit of craft and I will share it with you when I have done some photos.
Well I am off to put up the christmas tree, my children have been nagging me, and I must find their advent calendars.....

Thanks for stopping by...

Scrapbooking

Hellooo

I love to scrapbook, I only wish I could find more time for it, still I have a whole day scrapping this Saturday so I will have to get myself sorted. I have so many photos to scrapbook, its a job to choose. Many of my recent pages have been about trips to Wales and Shep our Border Collie having fun on the beach. Last year I made a little album all about the snow and the fun we had making snowmen and having snowball fights. So I thought I would share it with you......

I really enjoyed making it and love looking through it. It used the now retired set flaky friends still one of my favourites , I love those little snowmen, soo cute....... and of course my fave colour blue, sorry about the photo's not brilliant I'm afraid. Anyway Thanks for stopping by hope you enjoyed my album.

Hellooo

Gosh its been nearly a week since my last post where has the time gone?  Well I was pretty busy last week and then I was away at the weekend, I thought I might do a bit of blogging whilst away but forgot to take the dongle and where we were staying wanted to charge £10 per day to use the WiFi, but only one person could access it at a time...... My children were not amused...
Hey Ho
Anyway we stayed in Newquay and  we found a fabulous house just look at this, talk about owning your own Island. How cool is that......
We had a brilliant time walking along the beach and exploring the caves, my children (12 & 15) still love messing about on the beach......
Josh pretending to be a zombie??????
Shep just loved being in the sea, he had such a great time.....
Anyway back to some crafting, this is card I made for a work collegue for her Mom's 80th Birthday..
The Baroque Motiffs Stamp set is fast becoming a favourite, it is so versatile, I have used it for christmas, birthdays and on scrapbook pages. Its gorgeous..
Anyway hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.....

Workshop

Hellooo

I am doing a workshop tonight and I wanted to do an easy make & take but the group of ladies who are attending are all seasoned crafters, so when I found this card by Jenny Moors I thought we would try it.

It uses the scallop trim border punch and the scallop trim corner punch, I have soo been waiting for these, they are just gorgeous. You can go all the way around a piece of card to create such a lovely effect.

How gorgeous is that.....

Anyway Thanks for stopping by...

Convention 3D Swaps

Hellooo

Back again this time with some of the 3D swaps I received...

Mmmmm Chocolate.......
Unfortunatly these two had no information on them so I can't give credit for them which is a shame.
Another with no information, it is really lovely, the flower is actually a broach made from DSP, on a cute little gift card.
This lovely cone was made by Carolyn Exwood, using the Jolly Holiday designer series papers.
Doris Stempelt created this little mini post it holder, ah so cute.
Love this nail file holder, created by Jane Cheshire, one of our P'ink ladies.
This is such a clever christmas decoration, made by Joanne Friend, using folded Jolly Holiday DSP.
A little chocolate treat made by Nicky Painter, so sweet.

This cute keyring was made by Sarah Makin, the picture is supposed to be me, kind of, well it is when I don't curl my hair. he he. Sarah is also a P'ink lady too. (I will explain later)
This lovely handmade potpourri, with the cute little gingerbread man was made by Sarah Poulton, another P'ink Lady......
What a lot of talented demo's there are..
P'ink Ladies are the team we are in, I will share more tomorrow with some more goodies...

Thanks for dropping by....
