Reason For The Season & Festive Flowers

Hello and welcome back...

Yesterday I said that if you like Poinsettias you will love today's post...now I love dies but I love punches even more, so this bundle was right up my street....lol
The stamp Set is called Reason For The Season and the matching punch is called the Festive Flower Builder Punch and you are going to love them.

So I took inspiration from the NEW Autumn / Winter  Catalogue for this card, I stamped the images in the new Basic Black and then using my blender pens I coloured in the flowers using Real Red and Mossy Meadow for the leaves.

I love this sentiment, I stamped it in Real Red on the Whisper White card and then I added a little Gorgeous Grunge....

In the center of the flower I put gems which I coloured yellow with my permanent markers, (I used Stampin'Up Blendabilities which are no longer available but Sharpies do the trick).

This is the beautiful flower you can make with the Festive Flower Builder Punch, isn't it gorgeous and so easy to make. And the Stamp Set has matching stamps for you to stamp on the petals and leaves.. Here I have wrapped a Tiny Treat Box with a piece of Burlap Ribbon and then added the flower to the top...oooo so cute.

Here you can see just how lovely it is and I can see uses for it other than just for Christmas too..

You can vary the size as well by adding a few more petals, the flower on the left has 4 extra petals to the one on the right...

And here they are all together...mmmm..very Christmassy!!! I think I might be making lots more of those flowers for Christmas Decorations.....

I hope you like these as much as I do...thanks for stopping by...

Flurry Of Wishes & Snow Flurry Punch

Hello and welcome back...

Only 3 days to go before the NEW Autumn /Winter Catalogue goes live, have you got yours yet...don't worry if you haven't, you will be able to look at it on-line on the 1st September 2015. But if you prefer a to browse through a paper copy please let me know and I will get one to you.

This card is a CASE of the one in the catalogue, although I did two versions...

I stamped the Snowflake in Pool Party and Smoky Slate and then punched them out using the matching punch. The border at the side is from the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set, stamped in Smokey Slate. Some of the snowflakes are then glued flat and some are on dimensionals. Then I added some gems to give a little sparkle...

I decorated the envelopes with the two smaller snowflakes using Pool Party ink.

For this card I kept with just Pool Party and stamped some images directly onto the card and others have been stamped, punched out and added to the card using dimensionals.

Buying the Stamp Set and Punch as a Bundle will save you 15% off the regular price...
If you love Poinsettias pop back tomorrow for another catalogue sneaky peak, you will love it..

Pretty Petite Petals

Hello and welcome back...

I have been trying to find ways of using my Washi Tape, I love it but don't really get around to using it so usually end up with lots of retired stock..... So trawling through Pinterest I saw a card which used washi tape to make a banner so I thought I would give it a go.....

The colour scheme for this card is Bermuda Bay, Whisper White and Blackberry Bliss... I used washi tape from 2014 - 2016 In Colour, Cherry On Top, Everyday Chic and Bohemian Designer Washi Tape.

I used the Hello from the Stamp Set Crazy About You and stamped it onto Whisper White Card... and created a little banner.

I stamped the flowers from the Petite Petals Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss ink and then punched them out using the matching Petite Petals Punch.

I put some of the flowers on Dimensionals and some directly on the card. Then to finish off I put some gems randomly all over the card.

Really pleased with the look and love those little flowers... so pretty.

Curvy Keepsake Wednesday

Hello and welcome back to another Curvy Keepsake Wednesday....

This week I have an Eyore Curvy Keepsake Box to share with you..... It was my Besties Birthday last week and I made her this box to hold a little birthday gift, Eyore is her favourite....so it just had to be done....

I made up the curvy keepsake box as normal using Pacific Point card stock and sponge daubed around the edges of the box with Pacific Point ink.

Then I cut out the pieces for the head of Eyore and sponge daubed around the edges before sticking them together, then I stuck the head to the box using dimensionals.

The tail is attached to the back of the box using a tiny pink brad (old Stampin'Up stock) so that it moves... If you would like to have a go at making these Paper Piecing characters you can find the patterns here at CuddlyCuteDesigns they are suitable for cutting machines or cutting by hand.

Hope you like, join me again next week for another Curvy Keepsake Wednesday...

Shamu The Killer Whale

Hello and welcome back....

Today's card is an adorable Killer Whale called Shamu (they don't come with names so you just have to have a little bit of fun with them..), my friend said he looked just like Shamu from Sea World, so that was it....lol

The background has been created using the Acrylic Block Watercolours Technique and Stampin'Write Markers. The colours are Pacific Point, Tempting Turquoise and Pool Party...

The sentiment is from the Remembering Your Birthday Stamp Set, stamped on Whisper White and cut into a little banner, then stuck onto the card using Dimensionals. The shell is from a retired Stampin'Up set.

I cut out the Whale using my Cameo, pieced it together then added some highlights using a White Gel Pen. Then I added some White Perfect Accents, Its hard to tell from the photo but they look just like bubbles.

So here we have the finished Shamu card....love it...

I hope you enjoyed today's card, thanks for stopping by...

Sammie The Seal

Hey there and welcome back....

I have been having a lot of fun using my new Cameo, I really love it but have only scratched the surface of what it can do, I purchased some Paper Piecing Patterns some time ago and had been cutting them out by hand and then I found out that the Cameo could do it for me and I was well and truly hooked....

So here is today's card, an adorable Seal called Sammie....

I have used the Acrylic Block Watercolour Technique to do the background and Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight Stampin'Write Markers on Acrylic Block E.

I created the little flag sticking the birthday banner to a cocktail stick, the sentiment is from the Remembering Your Birthday Stamp Set.

I cut out all the pieces and sponge daubed around the edges of each piece before sticking them together and popping it onto the card with dimensionals.

I used my Stampin' Trimmer to score two lines across the bottom of the card and then wound some Bakers Twine in between the lines and finished it with a button.

Isn't he just the cutest.....

I hope you like today's card, thanks for stopping by...

Walli the Walrus

Hey there and welcome back...

I don't know about you but I am a sucker for anything cute and adorable and Walli here is both. He has been cut out using my Silhouette Cameo using Chocolate Chip Card plus some scraps of Whisper White, Basic Black, Basic Grey and Soft Sky...

The card base is Chocolate Chip with a layer of Bermuda Bay on top...

The sentiment is from the Remembering Your Birthday stamp set which I stamped in Chocolate Chip on to Whisper White Card then put through the Banner Triple Punch to make a flag which I attached to a pretty cocktail stick and then attached it to the card using glue dots...

Walli is so cute, I cut out all the pieces and sponge daubed around all the edges before assembling him then I added some highlights using the White Gel Pen. The background has been created using the Acrylic Block Watercolour Technique using Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Markers.

Then using my Stampin' Trimmer I made two score lines and put some Bermuda Bay Sequins between the two lines...

Then I used one of the stamps from Gorgeous Grunge to stamp some pebbles on the beach in Chocolate Chip ink...

And the finished card is just adorable....lol...

So I hope you like today's card, thanks for stopping by....
