March 2012 Card Class

Helloooo...

These are the cards we made at March's Card Class.

We used the lovely Hostess set Faith in Nature along with the gorgeous Spice Cake Designer paper, oooh I just love it......
The first card also uses another favourite of mine the lush Seam binding ribbon in Crumb Cake, all this talk of cake is making me hungry!!!!!

The second card uses the beautiful Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon, I love this too and wish Stampin'Up! would bring it out in other colours (its only available in the New In Colours).

The third card is very masculine and uses the very lovely Whisper White Organza Ribbon which we coloured using a Chocolate Chip Stampin'write marker, but only the middle bit leaving the edge white.

Well I hope you like and thanks for stopping by.....

More Owls and Bags

Helloooo,

I have really got the sewing bug, so much so that I have run out of Stampin'Up! fabric!!!!!!!
Here are some more Owls, unfortunatly I have also run out of those gorgeous buttons too, so had to make do with felt eyes. But I quite like them all the same.
They are using the Timeless Portrait, Beau Chateau and Deck the Halls fabrics. I have to say the one made from the Spiced Fabric is my favourite colouring, but the others are so growing on me I may find it hard to give them away.

Also I saw fabric boxes on various blogs so I decided to make some of my own. I wanted storage for my Big Shot dies so I measured up and voila awsome storage in Stampin'Up! fabric.

The small one is made using the Scallop Square die and as you can see I have been making fabric flowers as well using the Fun Flowers die.

I also found this bag on Stampin'Up!'s USA website and simply had to have a go at making it. Its a little flimsy for me as it had no lining so I decided to add lining which made it much better. I really like the style and it was so easy to make... the scalloped squares are cut out using Stampin'Up!'s Scallop Square die.

The bag is made with Stampin'Up!s Spice Cake fabric, its soo lush and by far my favourite. I am loving those fabric flowers, it just finishes it off.

I also made these cute little bags in different sizes they would be great as gift bags and so easy to make.

And last but not least I made another Buttercup Bag in the gorgeous Flirtatious fabric, sooo pretty.

Well I hope you managed to stay with me for this Mega post and enjoyed looking at some of the things I have been up to.
Thanks for stopping by.......
