June 2011 Stamp Class

Helloooo

Don't you just love this stampset, when I first saw it I wasn't too impressed, but after using it, I really really love it. I did a workshop showing the flower stamped with versamark then heat embossed with white embossing powder on watercolour paper. You add water to the flower and then paint over roughly with your chosen ink it has an amazing effect, really pretty.

Its a beautiful stampset so veratile, I made a gorgeous 40th Wedding Anniversary card for a friend and Doh I forgot to take a photograph of it before I gave it to them. I will have to get a photo when they get back off their trip. I was really pleased with it, I even dyed the white satin ribbon to match the card.

Anyway thanks for stopping by...

June Card Class

Helloooo

This is what we made at this months card class, its all based around the stampset Natures Walk. I love it, it has the cutest Bumblebee.
They also use my favourite ribbon the new seam binding ribbon, I just love the ruched effect you can get with it.

If you would like the instructions on how to make these and three others check out Jenny Moors blog, link to the right, I have basically used her instructions with a few little tweeks of my own.
My ladies loved making them, hope you do too..
Thanks for stopping by.......

June ATC

Helloooo

Its ATC time again and the topic for this month was Tea Time. This is what I came up with, I used the little cupcake from a retired set called Darling Dots, inked up using Old Olive, real red, Melon Mambo and More Mustard pens.

I stamped the cake stand in Melon Mambo on Very Vanilla cardstock and mounted it on to Wild Wasabi cardstock. Ooh and then I added some crystal effects to the cherries to make them pop.  mmmm yummy
Hope you like them, thanks for stopping by.....

Stampin'Up Workshop

Helloooo

So sorry I have been absent, I have been pretty busy, I have loads to share but its finding the time to add it to my blog..........

Here's what we did as the make n take at Elaines workshop, they are such cute little fellows and so easy to make. Especially if you have the big shot die Pillow Box, because it does all the hard work for you.
Plus everything else is punched out using Stampin'Up punches, all you have to do is stick it together. Brilliant...
Everyone loved them they make great little treat boxes, you could even put some earrings or a necklace in them.

I saw these little chaps on kerryspapercrafts.com check out her blog its brilliant......

I love using punches to create things, I saw these on Jo's blog stampin'nstuff (link to the right), and just had to have a go at making them, they are sooo cute...

I love them, hope you enjoy, thanks for stopping by....
